Wasn't it Gittin who leaked a bunch of drift cars a while ago? It could be retaliatory.

It was Hohnadell who leaked his own car (the Rain-X S14 with blue wheels) and Corey Hosford (the yellow S14) who talked about T10 scanning his car a few years ago (around the time FH3 came out I believe). Gittin was sponsored by NFS and PC2 before this year, so maybe they didn't scan his car in time for this release... Either way, it's a bit strange.

That and it looks like all the cars in the pack are sponsored by Hoonigan, so it's most likely they're the only ones that T10 actually had accesss to.

This is the most likely answered as to why certain cars didn't make. It all comes down to availability & cost at the end of the day. It was also mentioned they had scanned these a while ago (As far back as last year)

Basically reaffirms what I already said. There a lot of factors at play when it comes to scanning cars, often overlooked by the community. A shame but understandable as to why perhaps the FD pack was disappointing to some.

That Ferrari powered 86 would be a nice addition.

It would have also been a PITA to license, considering it's a Toyota, and Ferrari would probably add you to their s**tlist faster than you can say "GT4586"... Something I am quite ready to bet Microsoft is not willing to risk over a single DLC.

Literally any car other than 3 V8 swapped S14s would have been nice.

Yeah, but with Toyotas being as hard to license as they are, and with most cars in FD nowadays being either LS-swapped Silvias or LS-swapped BRZ86s, I think T10 and PG had their hands a bit tied here... A D1GP pack would have been more interesting, perhaps.

The GT 40 and the Jag are giving me "The Fizz" as James May puts it.
And the Unimog is going to be much fun trying to climb over everything with it.

And now for cars that are only referenced by name in the files. Disclaimer: As with FH3's Jensen Interceptor and Mercedes SLR, these cars being in the files doesn't suggest they'll necessarily be there at launch, or even in DLC.

Bond cars (oh yes, there's more than the DB5):
- Aston Martin DB5 Bond
- Aston Martin DB10 Bond
- Aston Martin V8 Vantage Bond (listed as 1987 instead of 1977)
- BMW Z8 Bond
- Citroen 2CV6 Bond
- Lotus Esprit Bond

New normal cars:
- 1959 Ford Anglia
- 2014 Holden Sandman
- 2010 Jaguar CX-75
- 1959 Porsche 356A Coupe

Previously-unconfirmed returning cars (incomplete but it's still worthwhile):
- 2010 Ascari KZ1R
- 1996 BMW 850CSi
- 2003 BMW M5 E39
- 2010 BMW M5 E60
- 2010 BMW M6 E63
- 2013 Cadillac XTS Limo
- 1985 Mazda RX-7
- 2014 Nissan Juke RS
- 2003 Renault Clio V6

Again, something being here doesn't necessarily mean you'll see it any time soon, but likewise just because something isn't here doesn't mean it's not coming. For example, the VW Touareg is missing from the files but has been spotted in gameplay footage.
