My levels of "WHAT" and maniacal cackling keep increasing.

If this is something featured in the standard game, I wonder what they will throw in with the two expansion packs included in the price of the Ultimate Edition?

I took me a while to find it, but I believe the Halo mission is in the game by default. During the Autumn livestream you could see it. Look to the right side of this image, on the beach, and zoom in. You'll see an icon with the shape of a Halo Pelican dropship. That should be the mission.

I know. But my point is, if this is the level of effort they are putting into single showcase events, what will happen when they will have to justify calling an add-on an "expansion pack" (something that PG takes quite seriously, as in the past we have always seen the inclusion of new game areas and gameplay features)?

Does that seriously mean that we may be getting drivable versions of the freaking Tour Bus and Box Truck??!!
I honestly would not be too surprised if that was the case, with the inclusion of the two racing trucks and the Unimog (plus they seem to have their own division too).

There are some amazing cars.
Dakar Camion. twin Peels, and Napier-Railton with a V12 engine for aircraft.
Also, the latest machines like 2018 Griffith and AMG Project One make me smile.
I'm dissatisfied with the fact that almost no new JDM exists, but I hope for DLC. (I expected them to add popular cars in forums like Classic Evo, Cappuccino, Eunos Cosmo)

I guess that if we can drive those cars it can't be added to the garage and that we can only drive at Horizon Stories.

No. They are just traffic vehicles. I don't think Playground is going to allow us to drive their bus and box truck vehicles, unless you are playing a dev build.

No, it just means two different models for the same car, just like in previous Horizons. Meaning the traffic cars will have number plates on the front and/or back as opposed to the custom plates we get.

Should have worded it better, not playable traffic cars, but playable versions of the same cars.

Nothing is official until it is made official by T10/PG. I'd be surprised if this was the full list and/or real list.

Assuming this is all legit...

There's no real reason to doubt the leaks, considering the specificity of some of the additions. Sure, any teen's wishlist would include the latest hypercars from AMG and Aston, but a pre-war Brooklands record holder is a little too obscure for all but the most UK-focused gearheads.

With FH3 and now FH4, it's been really cool seeing Playground focus on the culture of the setting itself.

With that said, I'm glad I decided to pre-order this game yesterday. Physical copy again of course, I have no motivation to go digital for the formula drift pack. The only thing the interests me is the normal Viper SRT-10 and maybe the hybrid S14/15 Silvia thing, not enough to justfy getting that car pack.

EDIT: O_o Am I reading that list right or do I see a Porsche 917 LH listed? Not the 917/20, but the LH! I will freak out if that really is comfirmed for FH4.

The list is 100% legitimate, but remember that even being 100% legitimate doesn't mean the cars are necessarily coming. The 405T16 was originally leaked in FH3 and has still yet to appear, so just bear in mind that anything you don't see at launch could be saved for DLC or not coming at all.

So, the Fiesta WRC might be a DLC. Thought they did show roaming around and being used by the devs, so it should be in the base game. Strange that it doesn't show up in this list.

It also isn't necessarily a complete list. It's better to judge the base game car list on what you've physically seen in footage rather than what may or may not have leaked, since official word trumps all.

I know that the Napier-Railton did all of it's record-setting at Brooklands, Monthlhéry, and Bonneville, but a lot of LSR attempts were made on the beaches of England. I wonder if we'll be able to take this out to the beach and make a record attempt of our own?

Still would love to see a base 4 cylinder Ariel Atom in Forza.

Why are these listed twice with separate traffic versions? will we get to drive these in the Horizon Stories?

No Subaru Brat or 360? bummer. I'd still like to see more legacy models or maybe even a Forester.
