I have more liveries to share.

First up, this is Dick Protheroe's famous 'CUT 7' E-type race car. I put effort into getting the color to match the real car's Opalescent Gunmetal Grey, and you can find the values for that color in this post. Technically, the regular E-type would be a better base for this liver, as it is a fastback car like CUT 7, but I was using the Lightweight E-type for the championship to get the Ford Racing Puma, and I wanted this livery on that car. One other thing, there are some pictures that show this car with a #14 in the black circles on the hood and sides. I chose not to include that, as the numberless look is unique and appealing to me.

Next, I have a pair of very similar liveries for the Renault Mégane R26.R. The first one is the stock one that comes on the car, and my doing it may seem questionable since that livery is already on the car. However, I wanted to use my accurate custom version of the color, which meant creating all of the decals on the car from scratch. This also gave me the opportunity to include the Renaultsport license plate that was absent on the PG's version of the livery.

After finishing the regular version of that livery, I found some pictures online of a custom R26.R painted Vert Alien, a color used by Renault only on the 2010 Clio R.S. That custom R26.R also featured black brake calipers. The red ones in the game clash with the green, and there is no way to not have red calipers. That begs the question: when are we getting paintable brake calipers? It can't be that hard to pull of, as Polyphony Digital released that feature in GT6 in 2014.

Looks nice. Hot Wheels always made me want to replicate them in Forza. Now that I have a PC that can run it, I might do some. The other day I recreated a Jag E-Type 1:64 car I saw online. It was a more simple design, don't know if I would to any that are too complex, might give it a try.

I am a newbee to this but in fact you can choose every popular livery in almost every quality - i am so impressed about what you guys are able to do with such massive limitations - you create everything just with those shapes. I saw something like that with the Logos in Battlefield - but this one is even more amazing - i just started painting cars in fh4 and i have a 80% focus on "fantasy" liveries that do not exist just for my own joy - and sorry - there are some silly ones for real - and yes - of course - once i learned something or did a logo myself - i was using it again and again - sorry about that - but this in Game Editor is very comfortable and painting the cars is a lot of fun. - Outlines is what i really miss - but the limitations have its own factor of motivation

Time to break my lurking streak with a sampling of the liveries I've made over the past few months. Still have a few more that I need to photograph when I quit being lazy about it.

Spoiler: Ford Puma

Went for an F2 Kit Car build on this one, keeping it FWD , 1.6L displacement, and around 200hp. The livery is meant to look like a works/promo design prominently featuring the Puma model logo and minimal third party sponsorship that was in line with who Ford worked with at the time (i.e. the sponsors seen on the '99 Focus WRC works car). Slow, but great fun to drive; easily one of my favorite additions.

Had a bit of a throwback kick when designing this one, obviously aping the 5zigen/Takata sponsored JGTC NSX of the late 90s. Really pleased with the way the stripes came out on this one, just wish I was skilled enough to be able to replicate the 'harness' that was part of the original design.

Spoiler: Porsche 968

Ever since the 968 was added to the game I've wanted to make a livery for it, but I struggled to find inspiration. I eventually ended up inspired by the idea of a paint company being the main sponsor and splashing some bright colors on to show off their product, kind of like that old Plymouth Barracuda show car with a stripe of each color available. It's the first time I've used gradients in one of my designs, and I'm happy with how it turned out; makes me want to find an excuse to use it more in future designs.
