This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:

I don't see THAT happening. This is only possible because this is more something that can co-exist alongside GT. If anything, I suspect this is huge test to see what Horizon can do post life as an Xbox only franchise so if its a success, this will more likely mean Horizon's Future is definately on Playstation as well as other platforms (which by extension, means Horizon 6 will likely be PS5 bound). Can't see the same being said about Forza Motorsport for obvious reasons (Assuming Microsoft hasn't already decided to drop Motorsport, which to me isn't out of the realm of possibility given how Gravity Rush's Developer was readily dropped despite major sales success)So if this sells well do we think that Forza Motorsport will come to PS5?
Well you say that but as a kid growing up in the late 80s early 90s I would never have believed Mario and sonic would appear on the same console never mind the same game!I'm still in disbelief of this happening, either Forza title coming to PS5 just seemed...unthinkable. There has been a mental rule in my head that Playstation would be only GT and Xbox would only be Forza.
I might give it a try, I have FH5 on PC right now since I never got a Xbox Series X and I went for PS5. But I would love to finally play this on console for once.

On that note, I don't know about FH5 killing GT due to the different genres. But I can see casual players that currently play GT7 wanting to give FH5 a try. Like players that open those cruise lobbies for instance. Also, players that might be fed up with GT7's car list.
Until you SEE them.1989 Nissan Pao, 1991 Nissan Figaro, 1989 Nissan Scargo, 1987 Nissan Be-1...
...car roster in Forza feels more Gran Turismo-ish than Gran Turismo itself these days 😁
Why? They're not legacy models.Until you SEE them.
Not if there’s no Primeraaaaaaa.1989 Nissan Pao, 1991 Nissan Figaro, 1989 Nissan Scargo, 1987 Nissan Be-1...

This may sound like a silly question but is this going to be a car pack which you purchase rather than time-gated FOMO content?
A tip with DS5 controllers - keep the base of the stick free from dust. I keep mine covered with a small cloth when not in use, to stop dust falling on it, and every now and then I use a vacuum cleaner with detailing kit to clean the base of the sticks, moving the sticks in all directions to get any dust that is under the case. I started doing this after my first DS5 developed stick drift and Sony support asked me to clean it in this way. Cleaning it didn't solve the stick drift, but I figured that maybe stopping dust getting in there in the first place might stop the problem from developing. I haven't had any other DS5 controllers suffer from stick drift since I started doing this, how they wear out for me now is the material on the top of the left stick starts to bubble up and detach, but the DS5 is the longest lasting of any controller I've tried, including official Xbox controllers and supposedly premium 3rd party controllers. My DualSense is drifting more than Takumi if he starred in Tokyo Drift, and I only have my T300RS to drive with. Don't feel like giving in to evil Sony and getting another DS5 just for it to start drifting in another 6 months![]()
Hopefully makes a puch for pd to release a big update in april
What don't you like about it? Just curious, I think it's the best controller there has been for a very long time. Part of the reason I have a PS5 is for the controller. No physical, and only on PS5 is a big no for me. I hate the PS5 controller, and no physical is an even bigger deal breaker.
The only game I'll ever make the exception for using a PS5 controller is for Tokyo Xtreme Racer or Gran Turismo 8.
Extremely unlikely.Any news if it will be PSVR2 compatible?
There may be a Switch 2 version announced at some point soon, but other than that what were you wanting to play it on? A PS4 release was never going to happen considering the age of the console & the recent sales trends for software on it (basically only CoD/Minecraft/EA FC actually sell on it).only on PS5
Another tip! Buy an extended warranty! Ive been consistantly replacing my DS5 with brand new ones for free every year or so since they came out 😂I'm sorry for my poor Google–no–jutsu, but has there been any official word on which wheels are supported by Horizon 5 on the PS5?

Thanks. Another PS5 sim racing game I refuse to play then.Extremely unlikely.
More like a push for GT8
It's great that MS is making money, but I didn't think they would put the price so high like a brand new game.
As much as I would like to get FH5, I will not get it right away, I will wait until there is a sale .... I am a patient man, relatively....
Don't feel like giving them full price on a "old game"
