I didn't realise how highly voted the GR86 was. Wonder if we'll ever see the Sian hard top or the Automobili Pininfarina in FH5.

Car Features suggestions around customization continue to receive the most votes among Forza Horizon 5 topics with New Forza Aero leading at 733 votes. Increasing the file limit for shared tuning and paint designs is currently ranked #2 with 381 votes. Other top voted Forza Horizon 5 ideas include Collisions Off multiplayer racing and increasing the garage count limit over 1000 cars.
I really hope they are taking note of how many people are suggesting new customization features. One of the first times I've noticed PG/T10 acknowledge it, hopefully we see more of it in the future.

Recently T10 have been doing a great job of listening to their fans and generally bringing us good stuff. But this particular situation will be heavily influenced by licensing costs and general availability of modellers to pull together a large group of cars (especially the rally stuff which probably won't be in FM2023 at launch). Not to mention what else they had planned and just how long extra cars are going to keep being added to the game.

We'll just have to wait and see.

I wonder if PG will reinstate the Lancia Stratos they had to cut from the pre-release video about improved car sounds?

The return of Lancia and Alfa were my biggest want's from the very start of FH5. Very pleased to see it finally happen.

Another point that I saw mentioned elsewhere;

With Stellantis coming on board now, I'm really hoping we can see a better representation of some of their other brands and a reintroduction of some too.

Citroen would be an excellent start, seeing as they have 3 models from FH4 that would be a great fit in Mexico. The DS23 was only added very late to FH4 (in 2021 I believe) so surely it's a prime candidate for returning content.

Chrysler has been woefully represented in Horizon, period. Even if just the 300C and the Valiant Charger come back, that would be a good start. PT Cruiser for memes please PG?

Maserati got their lineup slaughtered essentially from FH4 to FH5. Getting back the base MC12, Ghibli and the classic 300S/Tipo Birdcage would be a nice start, and thats before getting to new stuff like the MC20.

Dodge has had their lineup stay pretty similar from FH4 to FH5. Fine, but the selection is definitely needs an update. The Redeye would be a good start, and filling out some of the older models like the Shelby Omni, Neon SRT4 and Coronet W023 would be great to see.

You could make a similar case for Peugeot, Vauxhall, Opel. Jeep etc. But I hope we see some more love for these brands too, not just the big 4 of Alfa, Lancia, Fiat and Abarth.

Pretty good update! The Hot Wheels Firebird looks pretty interesting, and happy to see the Toyota GR86 come to the game! A new Toyota (probably after the exclusive licensing deal with Gran Turismo)! Hopefully the GR Yaris and the GR Corolla (probably a year after its debut in Gran Turismo 7) will come to Forza as well.

In terms of returning cars, it's about time the Ford XB Falcon GT is back! I felt sorely disappointed when the game launched without that car, so really happy it's back.

Awesome to see that the four Stellantis FCA brands are FINALLY coming back! I think the Lancia Stratos definitely will be in the new update next month, as Playground Games already has gameplay of it before the game launched. The upcoming Forza Motorsport game will probably also have these brands as well, as back in the first teaser trailer in 2020, a Lancia Delta Integrale was spotted.

Did a little Google-fu on that HW Firebird and it’s quite the spicy firebird, 10,000rpm V8 and it turns out Hoonigan showcased it back in 2019, a year before it won the 2020 Hot Wheels Legends Tour.

Skip to near the end if you just want to hear it on the dyno. :P

Playground/T10 better send the returning Alfas, Lancias, Fiats and Abarths to the Autoshow. I'm cool with having New-to-Forza cars of these brands dripped in the Playlist.

Exorcist is a Chevy.

I thought it was Max Von Sydow? 🤔

After giving the FTC the old cement shoes, Microsoft's consigliere made Stellantis and offer they couldn't refuse...

Sort of like The Godforza then?

Abarth are so big they're coming back twice ;)

The stream cut while Esaki was talking about tires and I had to go to work anyway so I'm late to the party, but general reaction to everything:

I'll dissect this here about returning Stellantis brands here:
Citroen would be an excellent start, seeing as they have 3 models from FH4 that would be a great fit in Mexico. The DS23 was only added very late to FH4 (in 2021 I believe) so surely it's a prime candidate for returning content.
I would fully agree. Bonus points if we can get the C4, DS4 or for an extra sweetener, an Xsara rally car. 2CV from FM7 also counts as well.
Chrysler has been woefully represented in Horizon, period. Even if just the 300C and the Valiant Charger come back, that would be a good start. PT Cruiser for memes please PG?
Agree. While we're in Chrysler territory we should bring back the legendary ME Four-Twelve and the Crossfire. But as this brand has been dowdy in recent years it's likely getting less attention.

Yes, and that is tragic. Other Maseratis desperately need adding like the Ghibli II Cup, GranSport, and even new inclusions from an older Quattroporte to the Grecale Trofeo.
Dodge has had their lineup stay pretty similar from FH4 to FH5. Fine, but the selection is definitely needs an update. The Redeye would be a good start, and filling out some of the older models like the Shelby Omni, Neon SRT4 and Coronet W023 would be great to see.
Dodge does need a proper injection of new models. Durango Hellcat, those Redeyes you've mentioned, and a 1999 Dodge Ramcharger (because Mexico). FM4 also had other Dodges like the 2003 Viper SRT-10. Bring that back since that model is a convertible. And the 2013 Dart GT.

As for the rest, yes we need new products from the other brands of formerly Groupe PSA. And as for Lancia, can we get a Ypsilon?

Odds are we're going to get this abomination before we get a "new" old Lancia like a Thema 8.32 or an actual Flavia/Flaminia and whatnot.

I'm thrilled to admit my prediction of the four Italian Stellantis brands never making it into FH5 the same way VW never made it into FH3 was wrong.

However, I am confident we won't see any new-to-Forza vehicles from them, at least not in FH5; I don't recall that ever happening with a brand that was added to a FH or FM title post-launch due to licensing issues. Even so, the Abarth 131 and Lancias on the Rally Adventure map is gonna be 🔥🔥🔥🔥.

Well butter my butt and call me a biscuit, they are back! Glad that the Italians can still make a good decision once in a while, and I am really happy for everyone that really wanted these brands back :)

My only concern is the way they will be introduced, if it's straight to the autoshow or a free DLC pack then it's all good, but if they'll drip feed them over playlists then we will march to Leamington Spa

And I know it is high hopes given that the updates seem to be winding down in new cars, but an Italian Automotive update without the Roma or the Countach (or ideally both) would be very much incomplete :D

I would not be surprised if they reintroduced most Stellantis cars we had in FH4 in the same way Mitsubishi was reintroduced back then (via a free themed car pack), and the Playlist were to offer the usual mix of new-to-Forza and returning cars.

Honestly, it would be a bloody shame if, now that Stellantis is fully back on board, they didn't bring a Lancia D24 to compete with the various other sportscars of the era - hell, if they want to scan the #0004 car that won the Carrera Panamericana and is now at the Museo dell'Auto here in Turin, I'll buy them lunch.

The FM4 Porsche Expansion Pack included three new 2012 models, the GT2 RS, Cayman R, and Cayenne, plus four 2011-spec racecar variants that were technically new but less so. It also had a ton of new modelling done on some of the returning cars, like a full 911R body conversion for the Carrera RS and a 964 conversion for the 930 Turbo. That was a paid 30-car expansion though, much larger in scale and scope than one month of seasonal content.

I also suspect charging for Porsche was more to do with offsetting the presumably massive sacks of money MS had to pay to both them and EA to briefly sidestep their exclusivity agreement. Assuming they did the Stellantis stuff in a free pack, I wouldn't be too peeved if there wasn't anything new, though my guess would be the more desirable models would be playlist/new accolade rewards instead.

A bit late to the Maserati portion of the car list discussion, but I find it completely bizarre that none of the Forza games, and almost no racing games, period, include any of the cars manufactured between the Tipo 61 (1961) and the AM336 Ghibli Cup (1997). That's an entire pantheon of classic sports cars and GTs -- the AM115 Ghibli, the Sebring, the Bora, the Merak, the Indy, the Khamsin, the Kyalami, the Mexico, hell, I'd even take a Biturbo at this point. It's like every racing game decided that Maserati only exists when they're a regular fixture in sports car racing or something.

I think the one game with a Kyalami is extremely contrived; the secret Newcastle area in Driver 1 has a generic version of one as a traffic car, but that's it, and even that is dubious.
