But then I would be sad 'cos I just spent £16 on them. 😁

Seriously though, I'm sure they'll be cheap as David Dickinson's tanning lotion soon enough.
Well, that's true which is why I haven't bought them yet. The fact that they've done this deal on what was (I think) the first 5 extra DLCs, means they'll probably do it same on the others down the road.

Anyway, I'm now on 811 cars and 793 Horizon Promo, so have made a bit of progress this week.

This is where I insert a smug 100% garage completion screenshot, isn't it?

I had no issue buying all DLC at release, since I love the game and play it far too much. I have at least 1 car in each DLC pack which made the pack worth it for me, often more than one.

So here we go, from last Thursday:

P.S. I recommend the European Automotive Pack. It's my absolute favourite with both the Conti and the superb Project 8.

I have a 246hp XE, so will obviously approve of the Project 8 (which I've seen a few times in the garage or at Jaaaaaag events)

Me too, 879/879, that's why I bought those DLCs I'll probably never use.

I didn't even realise I had a Dark Horse in the garage thanks to @Populuxe playing the game for me while I was on holiday (thanks again mate) and spent a couple of weeks fruitlessly scouring the Auction House for one.

Wouldn't it be great if Playground released a GOTY edition (or game of the three years) after the series updates wind down?

I've got all the cars apart from two of them. I'm missing the Ford GT Opi Edition and the Ford 32 Controller exclusive car. I've only got the Oreo Pagani because of @Famine kind generosity.

The four cars missing in the picture above are the next series 4x Porsche 911's.
I'm still missing the Pontiac GTO Judge. Had I not reinstalled I'd also be down an SVX, but hopefully Backstage Pass voting will be merciful and allow me to get my mitts on it.

Today it is GT3RS day. I must say I am actually more excited for the Turbo S.

Hoping for the M3 GTS E92 for the back stage options. That thing never appears on the auction house..

So good to hear he's ok.

It's a shame if he has quit YouTube, I really enjoy his content. He was my go to YouTuber for the series updates.

Oh well we all must do in life what makes us happy, life's too short not too. So I wish him all the best.

As if to commemorate the return of the Oval Track, the Backstage Pass vote is between the headline car of High Performance and the big Playlist reward car of Upgrade heroes. It's really a battle between Lambo and Mercedes, but I have a feeling the Lambos are going to pull this out convinclngly.

EDIT: Oh yeah and the 2005 Ford GT and CCX won the Backstage vote last week. Not surprised, in all honesty, the Ford GT was a shocking omission from the Autoshow and everyone loves a good Koenigsegg.

I'm glad he's okay and will miss his updates. Still, we'll always have the good times to remember him by.

We should get a UNSC grunt uniform to drive the Warthog!
That's what really surprised me--they didn't even bring a Halo cosmetic to this Series. Like, "normally" (i.e. since European Automotive) we've had a silly cosmetic tossed in to further the spirit of the update, but we didn't even get that--the Photo Challenge this week is just the returning Germany hat, and the two Halo events only give two horns. You'd think Halo Studios, after making the Warthog 343 Forzathon Points and allowing a good chunk of its prefabs to be made into EventLab props, would have the armor Master Chief wore in Halo 2 ported over to FH5, but apparently not!

I have to admit that I'm somewhat surprised. I knew the GT3 RS would be popular, but I didn't expect >2/3 of the threads on the FH sub-reddit would be photos and appreciation comments about it. Never seen any new car getting quite that level of reaction before.

The car deserves it, though. It drives superbly.

I know; honestly, its literal only flaw is that its digital speed readout in the interior uses Forza Font. That is it. It's as if PG did their damndest to do this thing justice even if it wasn't really the highest requested car at the time.

When the 992 GT3 RS came to GT7, I was very happy with it but I don't think I realised the impact it would have on the car industry. Since then, I've seen a bunch of them on the road and at Highball Cars And Coffee here in Melbourne. I told one owner that it was great to see soo many of them out and about, and he agreed. A legend has quickly grown around this car, something most definitely helped by the GT3 R cleaning up in IMSA and WEC this year. Porsche is on every enthusiast's lips right now and after driving the car in Forza Horizon, it all makes sense. The way it drives is just incredible - the steering is razor sharp, the brakes are easy to apply, the drive traction out of corners is excellent and at no point do you feel intimidated. You don't even have to think about what you're doing because the car just does it. The performance level is unbelievable for a "road" car. In fact, I'm pretty sure that if you throw slick tyres at it, it will beat the actual Cup car. The 992 GT3 RS is a cornerstone moment in Porsche history, combining all the knowledge, expertise and relentless development into a package that "normal" people can buy. It never breaks a sweat, it never surprises you and it never punishes you for being a dick. Driving the car close to the limit is not terrifying like the supercars of yesteryear, and if you ask me, that's one hell of an achievement. Accessing the performance doesn't require extensive training, unlike the Valkyrie which will bite your head off if you don't know what you're doing. This could very well be one of the greatest cars ever made.

We have a lot of them around Michigan it’s nice you can keep the 3rs stripe while doing a custom color
Most of the most liked designs seem to consist of someone just flipping the colour and keeping the strips so I ended up looking for something a bit more creative.

-When you first saw it, were you blinded by its majesty?
(Blinded?)
-Paralyzed? Dumbstruck?
The ethereal glow burned my retinas. Genuinely though I was stood staring at the wing alone for a good 15 minutes. Couldve been longer of not for the other goodies in there (Couple GT3s, a GT4 RS, a 991.2 RS and a 4S Targa Heritage being the highlights)

Really hope most people vote for the AMG GT Black Series. I missed out on it and that was one of my biggest regrets.
