I'm sure I've seen at least 3 others. This did not happen with the previous generation.

So, question for y'all. I'll soon have all the Backstage Passes I'll need to fill my garage back up, assuming the cars I still need pop back into Horizon Backstage. I've been thinking about drawing back the amount of work I do with the Playlist so I only get the 20 point reward car, and with everything slowing down, I'm beginning to think I won't need the expansions installed on my Steam copy--I'd just stay in Mexico from this point on. If I do that, would I lose access to the cars they added?

Granted, of those cars, I only really use Colin McRae's Focus and the Venom F5, on occasion, though I've come around on the Bad to the Blade recently, so it wouldn't be a huge loss for me if I did. But it's worth asking.

Also, I see they've added a filter on the Backstage list for owned/not-owned... which doesn't actually work! It still lists all the cars when you click on not-owned. Had to scroll through the list to find i was missing the Koenigseggseggseggseggsegg

At least in terms of content on the disk, the expansions are just the maps, all of the cars are in the base game install (one reason it's so large). This is so that driving those cars in Mexico doesn't break the game for players who don't own the expansions.

I can't say for certain whether there are any licensing / ownership issues with trying to drive those cars with the expansions not downloaded, but at the very least the files will be there.

You can´t change the color of the stripe, you can only use they ones they have already for the manufacturer colors (red, light & dark gray). I made a Porsche racing green livery with the gray stripe. One with black & one with gold rims. Unfortunately I am not good enough for a custom stripe 😅

Also stitching changes with different colors so let's say if you want black stripe and red stitching use manufacture red with black stripe and then change your color back to your custom color but if you want yellow stitching use manufacture yellow with black stripe 🙂 same with other colors

Well this week's playlist Eventlabs were rather disappointing. The offroad event was one of the least fun I've done out of all on the playlist so far.

On the other hand, the 911 Dakar is really good. Definitely a new favourite.

I really do think the 911 Dakar should've gone into S1 Rally Monsters, it feels way better than top-of-A-class would imply for its class. I mean, I thought it was excessive before, but holy cow it feels amazing to drive.

EDIT: I mean, seriously, look at this thing in comparison to the Hoonigan Escort you get almost immediately after starting the game, the two are very much comparable:

Yeah the eventlabs this week are "not good" to put it mildly. The offroad-event on the main map has bumps everywhere. You just suddenly get catapulted into the nearest wall. I had to use the rewind button a lot 🙄 And the eventlab island one isn´t much better.

On the possitive side this week: the Dakar Porsche is really good. I used it for this weeks trial with a tune and it worked like a charme.

I Don't have the Lotus, so need to try to find the time to get to 160 points this month, as it is clearly not coming to Backstage Pass. Unfortunately there are 2 drifts and a trailblazer this week, so I forced myself to do the Trial... My Macan was useless for the first attempt, but luckily I already had a decent Cayman offload tune downloaded and we won on second attempt.

The plus side of this is that I am accumulating Backstage Passes in case a car appears that I need. Kudosprime tells me I am missing about 50 cars plus the 2 remaining Porsche for this month.

Also, they are including Extreme E suits in the Forzathon shop this month. If you bailed on some of that series like me, you'll be needing to pick them up 👍

Also also, I now have gone past 800 cars on Horizon Promo. Apart from about a dozen "cheats", all of those have come from taking screenshot at the start of Monthly Rivals, Eventlab races or Seasonal Championships.

I've stopped buying Backstage Passes with my #Forzathon Points as it quickly ate into my years of savings and I think I have most or all of the unicorns. I'll be sticking with the eight or ten I already have in case I missed something.

I thought I was getting somewhere in this week's Trial until someone who'd already won the Roughroads Not-Dakar Rallye sneaked up from behind in the final dirt race and dominated everyone else. By the time I'd accumulated enough points to get one and re-Trial it everyone else had one too so I was still relegated to third.

Also, I know we're supposed to discuss individual series on the separate thread @Famine provided but that one jump in the EventLab which bounces your car up in the air... I wonder whether this was the designer's tribute to that recent infamous orbit launching GT7 physics update or even the classic eighties race game Burnin' Rubber aka Bump 'N' Jump.

I managed to get through by slowing the car down on approach but I bet the AI had a right old time with it. What happened to playtesting, man?

For some yes, for others no. It is the part of the game I find the hardest. I like to think my PR Stunts leaderboard scores are respectable (apart from the Duna Blanca Dangersign, it's an impossible distance as the game glitched on me). However, my drift zone scores are average at best.

And yet FH5 drifting is much easier than FH4... I still haven't 3 starred all of the FH4 drift challenges

It is easier in FH5 than FH4 I agree, but the challenges in the game as a whole are easier I think bud.

The game froze and crashed on me as I landed. When I reloaded the game my distance recorded was far longer than I think is possible.

It's annoying. All my other PR Stunts leaderboard entries are 100% legit. I really wish I could wipe that jump and record a legit distance.

That's exactly what I mean. It stands out like a sore thumb. It's a embarrassment. All my other leaderboard scores are 100% legit. Anyone seeing this though would rightly question my other entries.
