So, the 2025 Developer Direct came and went and no hint of a new FH, and the major release for Xbox is Doom the Dark Ages on May 15. If they do announce anything this year, the next FH will probably launch in 2026.

The Horizon series have always been announced at the E3 or Summer Game Fest events with a release in September/October.

I don't think it means anything that nothing was shown yesterday.


I think FH6 will release this year. They might delay it a month or 2 when the GTA6 release date gets announced.

That's about how I feel except maybe Hot Wheels P1800 Gasser goes somewhere, and 50/50 on the GTX 426 or the Coronet

Just spotted you can't get both rewards without Core/DLC this week either, due to the Hide & Seek requirement for the FWC!

Huh. Went to do this and it completed after the third chapter (jump 100m).

Perhaps if you've already used the Nomad for H&S at one point (I know I have) it completes?

Question mark in bold--why would the game justify you using the Ariel Nomad in Hide and Seek? I know it's a Seeker car but... why?

That being said that definitely sounds ill-thought-out. The Seeker cars aren't even in your garage, they're basically loaners. They could've just done, like, a five mile drive in it instead.

That reads like they'll be tossing in Backstage Pass cars into the Playlists so as to help folks coming in late save Forzathon points for cosmetics or cars they really want. FH4 seems to have been doing it for a while.

Perhaps the live team working on FH5 is so small now that they can't keep up with the content required to bring new playlists - so they're just rerunning old ones until they add the final piece of content they're teasing here.

For those of us without the 3 tie-in cars, your 900 would be 897. I see no difference between that and the 891 I will have at the end of the coming season…:

This seems... weird. There's no new themed updates, and no new festival playlists means no new cars unless they gift us one or add it to the shop. Any features they add will be wasted as we'll be on FH6 in a few months minimum anyway. Though I do have a wild theory on what they could potentially do based on some rumours going around for a while, what if this is when they port it to PS4/5? They get easy money from new sales from the game and DLC, the backstage and festival voting systems allow new players to get old seasonal cars more easily, and at the same time we still get to play FH6 on Xbox and PC.

Also the other thing worth noting is that the 20th anniversary of Forza is in a few months and was expecting a themed update for that with some music from FM2-4, some old cars from FM1-4 at least and maybe a new story (idk). But I imagine they probably will still do something, so maybe there's a 20th anniversary car pack coming? But hopefully it's new stuff and not just previous cover cars but pre-tuned and a livery copy-pasted on all of them.

I'm in Dreamland territory I know, but I'd love to see the Ford Capri FE car brought to FH5 before it dies. I just think it's a perfect vehicle for the games map.
