It should be 899 cars for everyone, plus 3 specials. I'm waiting for someone to post their 900/900 car collection on here in the next couple of days :D

I think I agree with the assessment that Realms is not the best way they could have sent FH5 off but I think I feel more disappointment rather than boredom. Only requiring that every Realm have a score set in Skill Mode in order to get all three cars from Realms is... frankly not what I had in mind. I was expecting the cars to be locked behind challenge Accolades in some of the Realms, but I guess PG wanted them to be easily attainable as a thank you to FH5's players for sticking around this long. At that point, I'd have just stuck them in the Autoshow or released them as a Car Pack, lol.

Still, I think it's a fun time, speaking as someone who actually did try to set scores rather than wait out those five minutes. My only real gripes are that they cut off some of the Evolving Worlds too soon--the Neon Airstrip is missing all of its Danger Signs, including the Runway Danger Sign it used as an antepiece--and that it doesn't include some of the less extravagant Evolving World pieces like the New Year and Cinco de Mayo Guanajuato. They were willing to use Dia de Muertos Mulege, why not the Guanajuato pieces?

I think PG did the unlocks this way simply so their new PS5 users would actually load each realm at least once.

As for the comment that PG did this update badly: Let's be honest, their skeleton bug-fixing crew is probably all that's left on FH5 for months already, and all their main dev teams are deep into FH6, so we shouldn't expect anything particularly miraculous at the moment. Let them save cool new stuff for FH6.
 
I believe Forza Horizon 6 will break the 1,200-car barrier
Unlikely i believe, as i expect it to launch with either 500 or 600 again the same as FH4, FH5, FM23 have, and then add the rest back via Forzathon, but we'll have to wait and see...

If I remember correctly, FH4 had about 450 cars at launch. FH5 had 538. So I expect something around 650 cars in FH6.
 
Perhaps it's just my imaj but it feels like the playlist races might just have been tweaked ever so slightly in anticipation of our PlayStation friends' arrival. Highly Skilled AI seems a tiny bit more competitive and it feels like there are once again more traffic cars in Street Races and The Trial. Could be just me though.

Regrettably another bug has crept in and I can no longer select and click on the world map from the Campaign tab of the Start button menu. Hitting the dedicated Select button still works fine, though... now I just have to remind my muscle memory of that.

The Danger Sign PR stunt this week has bugged out on me. Not matter how far I jump it keeps telling me I'm 1ft short of the required distance.

I also can't get the accolade to register for 'Eterna-lly Yours'. It's for listening to Radio Eterna for 5 minutes in the Dia de Muerto map in Realms. I've tried in both Free Roam and Skill modes but no luck.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

I was getting the same results, so I changed my approach. I plotted a straight line as far as I can go (you will have to mow some crops), and my BMW had rally suspension/tyres fitted and a V8 engine swap, and when I hit the dirt road stretch you have to reach 220 kph at least, and is doable (sorry, I don't use the Royal system).

Ah my bad bud sorry, I didn't make my post clear. I'm easily clearing the distance but the game keeps thinking I'm landing 1ft short of what I need.

The radio accolade worked first time for me in skill mode. Didn't try the Danger Sign yet.

I've tried multiple times but nowt. Not had your map bug though thankfully (yet).

I'll try again later as I need to finish off the new achievements.

It's weird as we both use the same platform (Series X) but got different glitches.

Hopefully a resync or future update will sort things out. Hopefully the Panic Button PS5 port is bug-free.

I've just been on and Eternally Yours still won't pop.

FH5 wouldn't be FH5 without it's bugs now would it lol 😂😂😂.

Yeah, I wish the PS5 players more luck on the bug front than we've had. Although it would be very embarrassing for the game to run better overall on the PS5.

I am on a Series X too but I have different bugs. No trouble with the map or the danger sign, but with some of the new accolades.
2 accolades won´t trigger, no matter what I do. The drive 80km/h in a D-class car at Dia de los Muertos and drive 1min at Xkm/h at the stadium. What is curious with that last one is, that it is also a new archievement and that one got completed 🤔 Maybe they made some new bugs for all the PS5 players so they can "enjoy" the complete FH5-experience😅

I had trouble with Time Wyrm too bud until I tried it in Free Roam. It popped straight away first time then.

I had to try a few different cars for the D-Class accolade. I used a D class Alfa eventually to get it to pop.
 
For me 3 accolades have slightly bugged out, Time-Wyrm(the achievement popped though.), Listening to Horizon Mixtape for 5 minutes at the Neon Runways and the maintain a certain speed at the Stadium Track.

I tried the Realms for the first time today and I have to agree with this post. Never had an easier time to unlock newly added cars.
 
Finally got this week's Danger Sign PR stunt yo pop this morning. Didn't do anything different just reloaded the game and tried again, it popped first time. I still can't get Eternally Yours to pop though 😥😥.

I've completed everything from the new update now apart from Eternally Yours, the new Nissan car pack has some little gems in it. Yes they're very low powered but that makes them so much fun to play with in my eyes.

A nice round 900. I'd still welcome more cars though if the Dev's feel generous lol.
 
So here is where I stand with FH5.

I haven't played the game since they stopped the monthly content around six weeks ago, however I am definitely going to be back on once Horizon Realms launches in 10 days and I'm looking forward to it. I can't wait to complete all the accolades to get the four new cars and I'll also get the Nissan car pack too.

The PS5 thing is interesting for me, because I do own one as well an Xbox. Despite FH5 being around three-and-a-half years old I am interested in starting the game all over again...but not for full price. I'm not paying full whack for an almost four year old game that I have already been playing, that opinion might change though!
You have to link your Xbox account on the Playstation version and it carries the progress of the xbox version. Clearing your save on Xbox and then nothing can carry forward to PS5 version. Wouldn't it be cheaper just to delete your save on xbox and start again on that?
 
I have to admit that despite what I said in that post I have been really tempted to get the game on PS5 and start afresh....
 
Looks like the PS5 version's FOMO effect is already beginning to take hold and the game hasn't even been fully released yet...

The realms are clearly made for convoy players to have fun together, and also just to showcase all those special seasonal map changes which we saw over the last 3 years but are new for recent players. Not challenging, but quite acceptable.


Oh, and I'm really happy to finally have the Sterrato. The final FH5 Huracan total now looks like this:

I'm only on 900 cars because I was lucky and fortunate enough that @Famine had some spare codes for the Oreo car and he kindly gave me a code.

899 is still impressive bud. To have every car the Devs released in game is a mighty fine effort.
