That's what I'm planning on doing, the MKII Golf, and see how far I can tune it.

is the volkswagen bora the same thing ???

Well, you already answered that question, but yes, it is. The Jetta has been a name we've had in America for decades, and the different versions of the same car in Europe has been sold under a variety of names, including Vento as well. I personally have a Vento-era Jetta, but the Bora VR6 pictured there was sold as the VW Jetta GLI VR6 here in the US for just a short period of time. Shortly thereafter the VR6 was dropped in favor of the high-output 1.8T, however, you could still option it out with the VR6 later on.

I forgot the Ion Redline was in there... I may have to be a crazy idiot and go for one of those...

i'm gonna make 3accounts and take them all about 2hrs into the game.
my european account will be the mrkIV golf(i want an R32 swap:drool:)
my 1st japan account will have the rx7 (this will end up my main account)
mt 2nd japan account will will have the civic or s14.

i've got a question about pre-ordering: i'm looking to pre-order the Limited Collector's Edition, which includes the 3 exclusive cars. But I'm a bit worried that I won't get the code for the free downloadable custom 350Z. Do I have to pre-order the normal version to get the code, or am I ok pre-ordering the LCE, and still be able to get the code?

That's a good question. Might want to ask that on the forzamotorsport.net forums.

I find myself in a similar situation. I'm from Canada, so i presume we get the US version, which means we don't get the LCE version, which sucks big time.

Its got to be the dumbest of M$ ideas ever.

If you are from the UK, then you could pre-order from PC World:

turn 10 talked about selling "unicorn" cars in the auction house, i would imagine the limeted edition cars are part of this.

I wonder if you can put a V8 and a RWD powertrain in the Focus, that would be awesome, like that RWD V8 Focus concept Ford showed a few years ago.

I second that RedOak. No matter how much I try to learn about Cambers, Bound/Rebound, Toe-in / out etc, I just can't figure it out. Eventually I just mess up with tyre pressure, gear ratios, brake balance and front n rear downforce depending on the track. Although cambers and other stuff is more important at times, so i've heard.

I'd like to know more about these tuning and setup functions. I know there are plenty of threads that do it, but i'd appreciate more beginner's 101 sort of stuff. Where everything is well explained with easy english for a layman like me.

Which brings me to my next question. Will it be possible to tune / set-up your car, just b4 a race, offline or even online (i can understand if it's not there online, coz no one wants to wait while one dude is setting up his car)but atleast offline, where it's important and was sort of missing from FM1.. I am sure it was there in GT4.. right?

I'm sure I've seen a pre-race screen with an option to setup your car. In FM1 I kind of just left most of my cars stock, or jsut set them up once and once only because I couldn't be bothered going back to the garage every time I wanted to tweak something.

I know, i did that too, but I kinda missed the feature of setting up the car, b4 the race, based on the track. Like I'd usually only change the gear ratio and front n rear downforce, based on the track (more grip / acceleration set up or more Speed / TopSpeed setup), as it always helped a bit..

If what you saw is real, then I am glad to hear it, thanks bro..

man that's awsome you can bump it from class d to the middle of class d and make it rwd and give it 55kw all for $5000 lol. what's that 1-2 races:D

nice just looked at page two and the rwd focus:D

Wow there are quite a few cars I'm excited to get, I can't wait for the game.
