Anybody,im struggling to get sharp images when I take photos, nothing like some of the ones on here.Any pointers, what settings to tweak or any general tips. The Gtr pic is my attempt, ignore the poor artistic style, lol. Its not sharp even if i press the X button to focus, the red one looks too bright to me,its not painted with a flourescent colour, just the red from the colour chart.Any help would be much appreciated,I know the photo mode is basic and not like the one in FH5,which had an overhaul in an update, but some of you guys shots are seriously badass.

When using the focus button you actually have to be on the part of the car that you want to focus on, use the little crosshair to get a better idea. However, that only matters if you're actually using aperture, which I don't think that picture has any but could be wrong.

For the overly bright red GTR, lower the saturation a bit. That should help with that.

What does aperture do,what should i set it at? My camera on my phone just takes pictures without any of this.
The saturation thing, when im in game the colour on the car looks nothing like the photo, its nowhere near as bright.

Aperture will blur out the area not currently in focus. You don't typically need a lot but it depends on how far/close the focal object is. If you're farther away you can get away with raising up the aperture a bit without losing focus on key points of your focal area.

As for the saturation, it's likely just because your TV isnt calibrated in the same way that they import their images. Since modern TV's allow multiple HDMI Inputs, when I would want to take photos I would calibrate one specific input to match what the photos look like once downloaded/imported so that way I can get it as exact as possible.

That Mustang photo looks much better than most in this thread. Most of these don't seem to compete with Gt7's photomode but this one does.

But looking through here quickly makes me wonder why GT7 doesn't have a lot of these cars in it.
