If next Wednesday is the final car list then we've probably got about another 30 cars left to be revealed which sounds about right if the current number is 439 including special T10 editions etc. But day one dlc will add about another 10 so 40 in total perhaps?
I think of that 30, maybe another 5 cars will be models totally new to Forza. Or maybe only 2-3 as has been the case so far

I'm just wondering if it's a safe assumption to expect the can am Porsche 917 when the pack arrives, what with the new Nissan and mclaren additions.

That would be amazing, but it would also be really bad. If they added the 917/30 then that's all that would be racing. That car was extremely fast in real life and was "the car that killed Can-Am" because of how dominant it was. I just think it would be too fast and really OP.

That's a good point, but let's not start hoping certain (edit; historic)cars are omitted because they are too fast or good. Any 917 , is a car I would LOVE to be able to drive and play with, and the 917/30 is the ultimate version. My favorite is the 917/20 with the "pig" paint job.

That meant it had a possible power to weight ratio of nearly 2000hp per tonne.
If it were to show up in FM6, only the best tuners and drivers would able to get 100% out of its abilites.
But I wouldn't say no to driving it.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I'd LOVE to see any variant fn the 917 in Forza. I just think that the 917 would become a leaderboard car with nothing coming close, except for open wheel cars.

Hmmm.....I'm probably the only one that wishes they'd throw in a '68 Charger 440 just to have that car return to a modern day driving sim. Smh...

This would only be true if Forza changed its classification system for some reason. The "Performance Index" was actually really fair and reasonable with only a few exceptions in 5, so I doubt there'll be many cars that dominate the leader board in any one class.

Actually, it was the mclaren that dominated the 1969 season. The 1580bhp '73 917 would be nice to see as well though.

Right. I need to remember that McLaren, Porsche, Shadow, Chaparral, etc all dominated at least 1 season of Can-Am.

New paint livery is a Xbox/Forza livery. Much cleaner than the one seen earlier in the year, looks like it actually fits the car.
Also, it is noted that 2 cars from each manufacturer will be included in the game.
