It's funny. PD desided to bring standard cars in GT5/6, yet never brought back the production models of Australia's Ford and HSV's cars (other than the Ford Falcon V8 Supercar that debuted in GT3).

@symo63 I will love to see those cars you listed make an appearance in FM6.

I should probably quote everything else great about this car list but that's what I was waiting for most. And it would take a while.

I could've told you the Lancia roster would've been as it was in FM5/FH2.

According to the GT planet article about the V8 Supercars, this week they will reveal the last 30-40 cars so looks like this last one was it. Maybe the day one dlc pack may contain the AMG GT S as it hasn't officially been announced but has been seen in the menu screen?

I wrote that based on the quote from the Week In Review. If they do have another reveal coming, that'd be fantastic. It'd also put them closer to 500 than 450. I know Badned's track record though, so the newer article reflects the situation.

There definitely is another week of reveals, hopefully this wednesday. BADNED is a man of his word. As you said, we still have the AMG GT S to be announced and that is the achievement pictures so its 100% confirmed. Also the 300ZX IMSA to come as well as a few left overs from FM5 + what ever new cars are coming.

If there is another reveal, I doubt they'd do it Wednesday right after this.

Winding down doesn't mean it's coming to a direct holt, so I'm staying positive, especially in light of BADNED saying so.

He could also mean they still have the Day One pack to show off, or any other post-release DLC really. Even so much as confirming the F&F pack contents would constitute "not done". So we'll see! We're 17 days away, so it can't be too long now.

(EDIT) Currently updating the OP, will get the total ready. Seems I made a small mistake back in July: I added the Murci LP640, and I have a clear memory of seeing it, in a Forzavista-type setting. But I'm now thinking it was a dream, since I can't find any hint of it anywhere in any FM6 video. Weird. Woops!

I don't think they're quite done with the car reveals yet. Remember how they dropped a nuke (in the form of the then-unexpected Lotus E21) in the last reveal for Forza Motorsport 5? Besides, if this was the last reveal, they would've clearly stated so.

Still got my finger crossed for more IMSA goodness and a vintage Ferrari F1 so that I don't have to race in the Eagle-Weslake.

P.S: speaking of F1 cars... Which Lotus E23 do you think we'll be getting? Romain Crashjean's or Crashtor Maldonado's? God, I can't wait to drive crash that car!

Mark my words: the ugly old 2008 California is done. The new T will be somewhere in a car pack before 2016. The 2009 Jeep and 2012 Rangie are goners too: they're not significant enough to warrant inclusion alongside their better-in-every-way successors. I'm a little surprised the cee'd isn't in (yet), and it seems silly not to include the Volvo after it just being released in FH2. The XKR-S and Hondas are odd exclusions, too.

The former is a very unlikely option - the game should've gone in gold a while ago; a day-1 patch is still a possibility, however, it would still leave people who aren't connected to the internet the possibility to drive the #25 car.

As for the latter, it's an option that presents its own set of problems - what would constitute a suitable tribute? And how would they deliver it? The best option would be to provide a tribute outside the game - I'd expect them to honor the memory of Justin Wilson in the next WIR or whathaveyou.

Surely that's an example of unfortunate timing if I've ever seen one.

P.S: just realized the #25 car was part of today's announcement. Jesus Christ.
