I honestly have no desire to see Fujimi Kaido again. The only thing I liked about it was the scenary, but aside from that; I couldn't enjoy it. It had too many harpins to a point where I couldn't carry much speed at all. It felt like it would take ages to complete a lap around the circuit and I just didn't feel immersed.

Fujimi Kaido is supposed to be a technical track where the skill of the driver and handling is more important than the top speed and acceleration of the vehicle. When youre racing against another driver of equal skill, you can have some really intense moments.

Yes, I know and my opinion is still the same.

So is Lime Rock, VIR, the Nurburgring, Sonoma... I always thought Fujimi was too long and quite boring, actually. Anything above B-Class was a handful, and FM4 in particular was always trying to make you race there with A-S-R classes.

Let's put it in the recycling bin where it belongs and move on.

Quite a shame Positano full only lasted one game. In FM4 only the short version was available...personally I think the more the better, so bringing back Positano Full, Camino Viejo and Fujimi would be very welcome for me. FM1 tracks are harder to bring back since they requiere a full remodel, but why not. I miss NYC full too, one of the few realistic city tracks we had (Prague, Rio and Dubai are all half real and half fictional, so they are kind of in a limbo).

Talking about old tracks...anyone misses by any chance the Sidewinder Proving Grounds? Many people I talk to says it was rubbish, but was fun to me, the Complex String of Forza, with many kinds of corners to test and race cars. I can't live without it, but wouldn't mind seeing it one day, or something similar.

Can anyone identify the track used? Looks like it might be the Hockenheim Dragstrip.
No idea but you can check the trailer for more details (1:12)

On Fujimi: It's hard to think of it as a racing track in a traditional way; it was more suitable for drifting, touge and hillclimbing. That's what made it special.

I prefer Complex String from Gran Turismo 3.

Eh, I preferred the Sidewinder, it had some nice elevation changes and that neat double corkscrew.

As I recall complex string was pretty flat? Or was that just the course maker version on GT6?

Either way, elevation changes can make the most boring track design interesting.

I believe the drag strip shown in the trailer is Sonoma. There were grand stands parallel that we can see, which the grandstands behind the the pit lane at Sonoma and there's also a cream coloured building that we can see for a split second.

The cream coloured building would be this one.

I'm expecting a big update over the next week or 2, as Turn 10 will hopefully be starting their weekly car list updates. When they did this for Forza Motorsport 6 they revealed about 50-70 cars at a time.

I'm trying to think of cars that would be placed into FM7 that haven't been seen in a Xbox One FM title.

And the only one I can think of is the 1996 Impala SS.

Hopefully there will be some new/returning cars announced each week.

Ford GT Mk7 GT2, Maserati MC12 GT1, F40 LM, Sauber C9, Diablo GTR, F1 Long Tail, first ones that cross my mind at the moment.

Chances are between slim and none, but Mazda Furai please.
I'm pretty sure Turn 10 has acquired all the necessary data back in the day to rebuild the 3D model. And they've already brought some quite rare cars back, so I think It's definitely possible to see the Furai again.

Not surprised they'll have both. They are showcasing the car after all, in their studio lobby, and Dan stated they'd have a very diverse line-up with the partnership. 👍

The Skyline R33 LM Road Car definitely needs to return. On FH3, it's a terrible car. The PI is way too high, and it's so darn sluggish. On the track though, I think that's where we can really see it's potential.

Hopefully they'll give us more bodykits for it to turn it into the actual R33 LM Race Car. I need my GT1 race modded R33 LM! :D

Oh, and I'm surprised that literally nobody has mentioned the 1952 Hudson Hornet. That beast has to return!

I would love to see the Hudson return, as well as the Austin Healey's, Triumph's and MG's. There are so many cars that need to make a comeback....

Adding essential tracks from FM6 and DLC to the new/return ones confirmed in FM7, by my calculations we already have at least 29. If they add forgotten japanese tracks from FM4 that's 32. Looks to me Turn10 have to come with something really special and new about tracks to not be a disappointment. Not going to the classic ones, it's not understandable thinking that some obvious like Paul Ricard, Magny-Cours, Macau, Adelaide, Pau, Zandvoort, Kyalami, Sepang, Montreal (outside F1 game), etc. etc. are yet to be modeled in the new generation.

Now that Forza has the Nascar deal it surprises me that they didn't bring back the Hudson then.

It would be a nice playmate for the '49 Mercury Coupe. Hopefully if it's not in the base game it's added via Forzathon.

I think no matter what they add quite a few people will be disappointed since there will only be a few actually new tracks.

As long as they are in the same class. The Merc has historically been in Rods & Customs, albeit that's where it needs to be, while the Hudson would probably be in Classic Racers, also where it needs to be; however, the two could definitely play together in multiplayer.
