So the game is able to process an FM6 thumbnail with the proper front aero on the GT3RS... That's just stupid.

Didn't want to suggest that, as I assumed you also wanted to play other games in your library.

It's a good temporary fix - Microsoft's choice of using cheaper (and more mechanically reliable, it's not all about the money) 5400 RPM drives means the One tends to spaz out when it's at capacity, and of course heavier games (like FM7, which is probably the heaviest title you can get rn on any platform) will tend to be affected more heavily, crashing or even failing to load. Still, external storage (or, if you're handy with electronics and out of warranty, upgrading the internal drive) is the way to go.

I got to get an external storage drive for my XB1, not that I play Forza on it. It's just full of games and managing the memory has become a pain in the neck.

I was gifted a Hennessey Venom last night. Not sure what for. I already had one so I sold it for 575,000 credits.

I am of the opinion that while Rio is absolute trash for online racing, the Top Gear track is actually worse.
Funny you mention that. Normally people would be under the impression that the full circuit is the worst. I've actually had my worst experiences on the west and east routes when they are separated!

For me the worst track for racing online has to be Virginia Patriot circuit. Or honestly any Virginia circuit. The tracks fine if you're racing something small, not so fine when you're trying to lug a large race car through those tight 80° turns.

So lately I started tuning fairly heavy/large vehicles that aren't SUV's or Trucks into A class and I'm honestly surprised at how well they actually perform. They're shockingly fast and handle pretty darn well, even in A class. I just finished Tuning an A-Class Chrysler 300 and managed a 7:29 on a standing lap at the Nordschliefe, which was about 4-5 seconds faster than the Wrath that I tuned, which I already thought was fairly quick too. With some fine tuning it could be even better, but this was just a quick slap together.

Side note, VIR is one of my favorite tracks on the game. It's really demanding and rewarding!

While you guys complain about VIR, I am watching an IMSA GT3 race on VIR.

Personally I don't have any issues with VIR, Though I don't think I have ever driven anything higher then A-Class on it.

Watching them run the Full course and then running the made up patriot alt version in FM7 is two different things. Any of the tracks that have motorcycle chicanes thrown in are an eye roll.

This. No need for tracks like this if you aren't going to give us bikes, Turn 10.

Virginia isn’t the worst even with extra chicanes. The chicane version of Road America on the other hand is terrible and ruins the flow of that section of track.

It's even worse on the West Route Alt layout. It's always great to have to negotiate a chicane LITERALLY at the start of the race, when everyone is bunched up. :grumpy:

The option of bringing Test Drive mode back to the forefront in freeplay mode along with time attack mode has motivated me to also take more pictures for photo mode again. That's why there's more pictures from me in the photo mode thread lately, I just have a recent spark of interest in doing it. Well that, and I wanted to show the liveries I've been creating.

I happen to like VIR for two reasons. There's day, night and rain varients which I feel EVERY track in the game needs and it's a lengthy track with some challenges and one nice long back stretch. It doesn't take much to please me when it comes to this track roster although now I do feel we are due for at least 2-3 more tracks, hell even one would be nice T10.

Rio is the track that really frustrates me, I thank Turn 10 for implementing those limit ribbons as it's a major pain to figure out where the limits on this track are. Especially with that tunnel where I can't see a thing.

I'd have to go with Sonoma as my favorite track, Watkins Glen would come second. Not a massive fan of COTA, Indy, Homestead and Yas Marina, although the shorter layouts of Yas are a lot more fun than the GP track. Everything else has its moments, sections that are pretty fun to drive. Well, aside Rio and Dubai.

That’s my test track, first track I take cars. Has a the mix you mentioned, a long straight and not to long so I can see results quick.
Speaking of which, I had a hard enough time just getting tied with @-Fred- with my Mitsubishi GTO.. No way I'm catching your time in that car
