I think the best thing to do now is wait until as late as possible and try to get a really high production number.
There will be a couple of #1 Cinques, but maybe only a single #55,000 :sly:

Is there a way to sell the Silvia for over 45k? That’s the max I can ever sell it for :/

I think I’m going to try and auction my #8 for a bunch if I can. The numbers are pointless now lol

Yeah I just noticed this as well. I'd live to unload mine, but 45K seems really low for a buyout price.

This is something else that bugs me. Let us sell our cars for whatever price WE want, surely? So what if we price cars at 20m.

There's a few cars in my garage that I want to put one-off paint jobs on and sell, but not when I'm only able to sell at just above the price I paid for them. Really is stupid.

The game is quite illogical in too many ways. I recently learned that I might have missed out on a few Bounty Hunter reward cars because I once believed I could lead a normal life and always rely on the Auction House for whatever Turn 10 has locked out of the offline game. It appears this is not the case with gifted cars, so now I can only attach myself to the hope that cars like the Ferrari 612 will appear in the Specialty Dealer at some point. Probably not going to happen, adding to how lame the whole thing is.

To elaborate on this rant, it's just utterly stupid how several random cars printed onto the game disc can only be obtained when and how Turn 10 decides. It has been asked countless times, but why does the Specialty Dealer have to be an online event? GT5 had a similar dealership based on offline progress cycles, which was pretty cool. I can live with the few cars unlocked on my own terms through FM7 career progression, but the way Turn 10 maintains control of the majority of locked content... 👎

I know there's always the rentable cars, but half the fun of Forza is building and customizing the collection to our own preferences. Forza may not have direct competition anymore, but Turn 10 fails to understand that the accompanying liberties of such a privilege does not justify alienating the player base. Probably their way of keeping folks artificially hooked for month after month, but perhaps Turn 10 should learn a few things from the model Playground Games utilized in FH3? Give players what they paid for and leave time-limited offers for a few DLC freebies.

That Zonda man!!!! I gave it the old Zonda S/7.3 look for good old times sake. It drives so nice, and sounds so amazing! After a few games were the sound was a bit off on the old Zonda, they finally got it right.

The M4 is much better than the GTS counterpart, as it is much easier to make it go around the homologation nonsense. The GTS I feel is in the wrong division.

And it's nice to have the old 5-banger Focus. Got to love that sound.

Zonda is looking and feeling fantastic!
Bought it today and tried on Nordschleife...
If i have a wheel, I would drive it whole night!

Oh Boy...
This week's cars may seem familiar.

1971 Ford Falcon XY GTHO Phase III - 52,900 Cr
2010 Mazda MX-5 Super20 - 64,400 Cr
1995 Nissan NISMO GT-R LM - 454,250 Cr

The same bloody cars as the first rotation.

Lol...so I have been grinding all week for sweet nothing...thanks Turn 10..:indiff: I let go some sweet prizes too including the Mclaren F1 and the La Ferrari..

I think most of the other locked cars will be Forzathon cars or Rivals rewards. I think the speciality dealer will be mainly repeats from now on. Maybe they’ll add cars people missed in Forzathons.

What are they doing? It's frankly bizarre. Good news is that I got #7 GTR LM. :)

I understand they want to give a chance to the people that came late to the game to get the early cars, but it's a bit stupid nonetheless.

That'd be a big oversight to run out of cars within the first 2 months of the game's life...

Yeah, I don't think they are going to be just (or even mostly) repeats from now on. At least I hope not. It just seems extraordinarily stupid to lock away so many cars and dole them out so stingily. That's the fastest way to make me 1.) angry and 2.) bored enough to walk away. On the other hand, it does seem they're having a hard time getting their 🤬 together over this.

Wtf

Not totally a bad thing considering I passed on the GTHO first time around but a repeat already in the life cycle of the game makes no sense.

Well, I upgraded my production numbers, anyway.

Ford went from 4516 to 217.
Mazda went from 6142 to 43.
Nissan went from 4001 to 169.

All three of my old ones went for buyout prices in the auction house.

Now I'm even more happy bcs of purchasing all three cars from previous one...

Money well spent.

Edit:

I bought Falcon, will Mazda too, I already have Nissan, it was in Forzathon I think.

No wonder they never made mention of this weeks. I’m glad GTA and my buddies are preoccupying my time lately; just release all the cars (minus FE since they have perks) instead of keeping them behind the game of chance.

My thoughts exactly, but I did get the F12. :) gonna pass on these three though.

I'm beginning to think they have a bunch of cars with unfinished models, and they're slowly being added back to the game through forzathon, DLC, and Specialty Dealer. Maybe the model builders were all on vacation this week, so there was nothing newly completed to release? :)

Considering all cars that are locked behind the specialty dealer, forzathon and all that are still accessible as "rental" cars, I don't think so. :sly:

I understand they want to recirculate cars people may have missed, but there are still so many inaccessible cars they could include. hmm

Whilst the Speciality Dealer palava continues, I am interested to know who has got what numbers for the cars that they have bought. I am quite into finding some 'lucky' number cars in the AH, but have literally almost zero credits at the moment.

Whilst I am happy with some of my single and double digit editions, I never really got lucky on the other numbers (no round numbers, etc.) Do you guys have any super-low numbers or any numbers that are relevant to the car e.g. 458 Italia #458, etc.?
