If that's the case, maybe they have been too lazy (surprise) to fix handling characteristics in the code and instead decided to compensate with a simple modification. I'll need to check this myself, but it does sound rather disappointing.

It doesn't change a thing. The front still has a mind of its own, even with full downforce. Which is odd because the 964 that was added yesterday doesn't suffer from that problem, so they definitely know how to fix it.

I am going to assume that todays 3 cars in the Specialty Dealer will be the Lambo Reventon, the Nissan Titan, and the 2005 Subaru Imprezza Wrx Sti ??? How many more weeks do we have to go before it breaks the repeat, either by repeating again or new content?

A quick count suggests 5-6 more weeks before we reach the end of this (re)cycle, we'll see what happens after that.

I think we had nine weeks of new(ish) cars before the recycling began, and we've had 5 weeks of recycles, so hopefully only another month of this bull:censored:.

So... the Forza 4 cover car returns today? (Buh, Reventon, Titan and Subaru, but I did not had the latter two, and I got another round number for the Lambo (80)).

So close... (never got it the first time around)

That is brilliant! Post of the week

Im slightly less annoyed with this weeks repeats when I remember I dont have a Reventon but actually want one this time around. And I actually have the credits this time.

But please enough with the repeats, I've had the game since day one and this is getting a bit silly. PD never pulled this with GT, that was a true mystery box.

I'm wondering if there's a competition between T10 and PD on who can make the more anemic, actively sabotaging gameplay experience post launch. What with PD pumping out content that should have been in the base game, and T10 putting no new content that wasn't already in past games/updates of vehicles already in Forza 6 and actively trying to piss off fans.

I really wanted this feature to be "special" (sorry, pun intended ;)), but I'm starting to feel it's not so. If T10 does a repeat from the very beginning again, than I will lose all hope for this feature. I just hate seeing the other cars locked. Will we ever get them?

I wouldn't even be surprised if it does; not the first time a feature wasn't fleshed out enough. Hopefully then, the backlash will be big enough over locked cars in general for T10 to act, but, they'd probably half ass it again and unlock only the cars that have passed through the SD.

The auction house was a perfectly good way for those who only recently bought the game to pick up the cars they missed. But by rehashing the same cars ad nauseum, Turn 10 has effectively killed the concept of low-number cars sometimes turning up in the auction house and bringing in big money.

By the way, there is a poll in the Tweeter feed of Forza right now asking what car should be added to the next specialty dealer lineup (!). The candidates are the 69 Charger Daytona Hemi (32% of the vote), the 2012 Pagani Huayra (46%) and the 2018 Tamo Racemo (21%).

I would say the Pagani will win. Even though I want the Tamo Racemo and hopefully the Racemo is faster than it was than in Horizon 3.

It seems that the poll closes some 4 hours from now (I'm in CST), and the Huayra is going to take it with almost half the vote... yay?

Sigh... it's bad enough that we lose out on the Tamo Racemo for yet another overpriced, uncontrollable hypercar, but to make matters worse I already have two Huayras through the promotional Totinos codes. Can't these kids just buy some pizzas if they want the Huayra so bad?

Not outside the United States, and not everyone has the necessary contacts to get a code from a US friend.

That's fair. It's just frustrating that the Racemo is a fun little unique sports car, but it got beaten by the Charger which has already been in the speciality dealer twice (thrice?) and the Huayra which is essentially an inferior version of the Huayra BC which is already in the dealership to my knowledge.
