Audi #285
Lotus #281
Pagani #16383

I realized I didn't have that particular Pagani. I have the Huayra BC but not the standard Huayra. So I bought it after I bought the Audi and Lotus. Glad the Specialty Dealer has a little bit of overlap between weeks. It also means I've got one of the very last Huayras sold.

How is voting in a poll to decide a new specialty dealer car “feeding trolls”?

Using an option that has a potential to have a favorable outcome if we have more sensible members voting on it is feeding the trolls?

I don't understand your thinking.

Well, interacting with or responding to someone who is trolling is normally considered troll feeding. I'd argue that Turn 10 is insulting our intelligence by including several cars with the base game which can only be unlocked through time-limited community events, not to mention how certain specialties never showed up despite being promised. It's such a piss-take and voting basically empowers this illegitimate system Turn 10 has rolled into motion in snail's pace.

This is also why I have been too stubborn to participate in any of the bounty events. Turn 10 "gifting" out base game cars as prizes that players cannot even manage once redeemed just puts me off to the point where I cannot be bothered. Also these cars have been chosen in polls, effectively making players decide which cars we cannot distribute via auctions. I know this doesn't apply to cars voted into the Specialty Dealer, but these polls are simply pointless. Just get on with it.

While I agree that the way that they've incorporated the locked cars is definitely one of the most idiotic decisions they've made with FM7 (including drip feeding online hoppers and rotating rivals events), I really don't see how the poll is in any way a bad thing. All it does is allow the players to vote for the next car in the dealer instead of T10 just picking one at random. I really don't see what is wrong with that at all

Nothing wrong with the poll other than it being a waste of everyone's time. They could have just added the Cadillac too instead of that same Lancia currently up for grabs in Forzathon. Overcomplicated and pointless. So please excuse me for not wanting to vote under these idiotic circumstances, as you call it. I'll buy whatever that appears to my taste in the Specialty Dealer and then move on enjoying the game the best I can. In the meantime, hopefully Turn 10 will sort out the nonsense in good time before my hair turns grey.

But how is it a "waste of everyones time" if it is T10 giving players a chance to have their say on what cars get released when? If it wasn't for the poll T10 could've easily replaced the 340R or RS4 with the Caddy CTS-V, but thanks to the poll they released the 2 cars players actually wanted the most instead of just picking cars at random.

Read my post again. The answer is right there beyond the part you quoted. In short, they could just have released all three cars listed in the poll instead of having the Lancia Stratos available in both Forzathon and the SD simultaneously.

You'd think that at that point you'd do what you can to get the better cars in the game, rather than doing nothing and still bring mad at it. I get where you're coming from, but at this point at least this is even there to let us choose from. Work with what you got, because being sour is only going to hinder you more.

I’m with Nielsen on this, though I completely agree allowing us to choose is a step in the right direction. I’m waiting to see if the backlash ever gets big enough where T10 just says, “Alright, alright... no more locked cars.

In Forza 8”. Cheeky ba.....

Yeah I totally understand the situation, but at this point we know its not going to change. We might as well make due with what's available to us, and even though this voting method isn't a sure-fire way to get what we want, we at least have the possibility to point it in the right direction.

That's what I'm doing now. I'm making due with what's available while I can still get it. Every week when there's different cars in the speciality dealer, I'll come back to collect them if I don't have them. Then I'll take a break from FM7 for a few days. Quite refreshing time to time.

Voted for the Abarth SuperSport, but really I wish we could just get all the new cars every rotation instead of having to vote on the one or two new cars to be added. If they want a regular rotation, there's no reason why they can't have 3 or 4 new cars in the dealership at the same time.

That reminds me, I have to kill my Twitter account. Thanks.

About the cars. I don't care. Here's an idea. How about replacing what ever you have planned with all 4 cars in this poll. If it's too good for you to decide on which car to add, why see what the community thinks? Just say "to heck with it!" And put all of them in? Why make a vote on this trivial matter?

Message tweeted to Forzamotorsport's twitter.

The Civic
Good because I don't have any money saved up. I can afford a Civic and not much else. Just haven't been playing much lately. Maybe if more cars were available, I would be playing more...

I understand that feeling. It feels more of a choir to collect the cars from the speciality dealer every week than it is fun. Because once you miss a week, you gotta wait until they're available again.

Or get them from the auction house at greatly inflated prices.

Look, now they're stuck with the CTS-V that didn't make it last week. So how about just adding the poor thing instead of putting it through another poll? Clearly not an option - just because no!
Yep. I feel bad for the people who may be voting for it again if it loses. 2 weeks in a row of wanting that car and the rest of the community has decided to go with other options for the time being once more. Those folks are left wondering if they'll ever get it.

I believe any of the four options in the poll would be affordable after levelling up just once or twice. That's easily doable within the seven days these cars are available to buy. However, it can become annoying when there are cars at 1.500.000 cr. two weeks in succession.
