Wow what the hell. A mobile game with that many great racing cars and dozens of them not in FM is wild. And to think many of them used to be in FM but not currently smh. Yeah im a little more mad now lol.
I wouldn't sweat it. Mobile games play by a different set of rules & the fact all your cars are designed to be controlled through a phone's touch screen, I imagine manufacturers are not going to be overly concerned with how their cars are represented as long as its not intentionally malicious. Mobile devs probably pay a smaller license fee just so the car can be represented in the game and the devs apply the usual time-gated, mobile game service strategy to make any money back.
 
That is a lot on ovals, but there is no reason to run the stock setup. There are plenty of tunes shared and it takes 15 or so seconds to download one. There are also places on the internet where you can find people posting their numbers for good quality tunes, the Forzaverse Discord is a great place for that where well known tuners often share their setups in detail.

The main tuning changes that make a big difference in lap time are aero and gears (but only if the stock gears are really bad) and aero is probably the easiest thing to tune in the entire game. Of course it depends a little on the car and track too. Running stock aero on a GT car at Lime Rock likely won't hurt your lap time too much, but running stock aero at Le Mans can cost you 2 seconds or more.

Lots of real life series have fixed elements (wing angle, gear ratios, ride height, spoiler height, wicker bill, etc) but very few don't allow any changes. Forza has never been good at being accurate with that stuff, so I wouldn't expect that to change any time soon.
I use the Forzatune app - the paid version allows you to tune to each specific track. I use it for every race and every rival event I do. It's quicker than me trying to work out what each stat means.
 
What's the problem? I'm just complying with the AUP.

The track lighting looks better than in visual target mod but the interior lighting and reflections are so much better in the mod. The lack of rough surface reflection or even on some fully reflective material reflections and the complete absence of RTGI in the cockpit makes it look worse than the mod. The interiors in the mod looked soo good thanks to RTGI and full correct RT reflections that it made the materials and shaders look alot better.

Damn the left ones look way more realistic, I hope T10 have an answer to this but seeing as the vast majority play on Xbox I'm not sure this issue will get the attention it deserves.
 
I’m on an Aussie buying spree, but the 2014 HSV GEN-F GTS stopped me in my tracks. What’s going on with the paintwork on this car? No matter which colour I choose there’s this black texture glitch in various spots on the car. Any workaround?
 
Oh that ? There are cars who has color issues in this game.
Btw anyone know if they fixed the broken RT issue in this update ? Still playing on performance mode.

I painted mine black so I haven't really noticed the weird black stuff, but mine also always has blue doorhandles for some reason.

Also, the HQ Monaro has 3 screwed up spots on the edges of the hood that makes it look like it has been bent or something, it's more obvious on the metallic colors I think.

FM ain't that, will never be that on the Series X, and will probably resemble something like that around 2027! That being said, I am pleased on the current state of the game, as my number of hours logged in can attest, but boy that was so deceptive. Never trust a trailer with "captured in-engine footage"!

At least they should give us the liveries of the fake sponsors!

Its just a shame that not everything is looking always nice and the same. The Open R races from this month for example are very ugly because of the lightning where the Aussie tour looks awesome.

Same with cars, some look nice and some are ugly or buggy. Whats upp with the lights of the Nissan Pulsar.....

And the wheels are the some some look nice some look crap in game.

Its just a bid strange its miles better then release but i think that this game will never be "perfect" maybe a new game will but i think the idea is to keep this updating for a few years like some sort of live service game.......

I call it a hate love relationship. One day i love it and the next day i want to buy a PS5 again.... (Play on PC)

Yea Forza Horizon 5 is a much more cohesive visual package
 
Once again I'm getting the very long loading times waiting for practice to start. 2-3 minutes sometimes. That track map and name of the track screen that slides off the the left. It's getting to be annoying again.
Always happens on the first race in EVERY series for me. When loading the track and when loading the grid. Adds 5 minutes to every series. I have something lined up now because I know I'm coming (make a tea, go for a pee etc etc, it's not quite long enough to fit in a dump though :lol: )

I wonder what causes this to happen to some and not others. I only had to me once and only recently, the first time I played a race at Mount Panorama, and only then it took around 30 seconds. I thought it had crashed because it's always taken a few seconds up to this point. Could it be what else we have installed? How many games are in quick resume status ? Does clearing the cache help ?

I'm playing via the cloud the last few weeks but it was doing the same when it was installed locally. T10 are aware of it, I don't think it's a simple fix unfortunately. Otherwise, It would have been resolved by now. It is specifically ONLY the first race in a series for me, never happens any other time.
