It will probably be monza
i dont think is monza beacuse they would had put already if they thought in put that first turn messy S into the game, also fujimi reboot is assumed to be done by a few months, just not publically yet due lack in desire to put into the game yet

Another somewhat "meh" update.
as i just mentioned, dont expect something HUGE beyond cars and bug fixes until FH5 PS5 port be launched in late april

Servers being kinda questionable tonight
it seems that a lot of DDOS attacks are happening across the web on last 48 hours, lot of messy stuff everywhere, not that FM servers are the best run things on the worlld, but i assume that most of server issues that lot of games (not just FM) are suffering right now, are beacuse of it

When you look at the polls in the official forums, Monza is the third. The track is already scanned and they cleary said "one of the most favorite track" not the most favorite. Just two months to wait

With everyone speculating on the next track (I hope it's Interlagos Monza as it fits with my Free Play Endurance races) I am actually rather interested in what's coming up next month with the 'Porsche Motorsport Icons' (which to me sounds like race cars)

If we get a similar number of cars as for the past 2 updates (roughly 10 of which 3-4 new to Forza) I hope it will be something like this:

  • 1951 #46 356 SL Gmünd Coupe (has only been in Horizon)
  • 1998 #26 Porsche AG 911 GT1-98 (Le Mans winer 1998)
  • 2008 #7 RS Spyder Evo (2008 overall winner Sebring + many other (class) wins in IMSA, ELMS, Le Mans)
  • 2015 #19 Porsche Team 919 Hybrid (Le Mans winner 2015 and I believe it was in initial promo pictures)
  • 2019 #4 Porsche Motorsport 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport (desperately needed for the GT4 field)
  • 2023 992 GT3 (this should be a shoe-in)

And then in terms of new-to-Forza cars I'd love to see these:
  • 1970 #23 Porsche KG Salzburg 917K (first Porsche Le Mans winner overall)
  • 1981 #11 Porsche System 936/81 (we've never had a 936 in Forza)
  • 2019-2022 911 RSR-19 (the last 911 RSR and one of the few GTE race cars we don't have)
  • 2023 992 GT3 Cup (good for a new one marque racing series)

May update’s gonna look very exciting, given Forza’s 20th anniversary and this line in the January 2025 Message to the Motorsport Community:

“This includes a content update in May that will include a fan favorite track.”

This “fan-favorite track” for sure will be Fujimi Kaido, based on the forum’s track votes (1,802). The only track above that is Interlagos (1,900 votes), which is NTF.

Cars-wise, if Fujimi Kaido is the added track on May, we’ll prolly get a lot of JDMs, both “good Recycled” (Introduced in FH5 or 360 era cars) and “bad recycled” (Should have been in FM23 on day one) as well as some NTF cars, including a few fan favorites over the past 20 years via a special pack.

Here’s my speculation:

Forza Fan Favorites Pack:
  • 2008 Mazda Furai
  • 1970 De Tomaso Pantera
  • 2003 Nissan Skyline GT500
  • 2003 Toyota Supra GT500

The rest:
  • 1992 Autozam AZ-1
  • 1991 Toyota Sera
  • 1991 Toyota Chaser GT Twin Turbo
  • 1997 Toyota Soarer 2.5 GT-T
  • 2012 Nissan GT-R Black Edition
  • 2015 Nissan #1 Autech Motul GT-R GT500
  • Nissan Figaro
  • Nissan Be-1
  • 1999 Honda Civic Si
  • 1984 Honda Civic CR-X Mugen
With Nissan’s blooming collaboration with T10, as shown with more Heritage Collection racing cars appearing in FM23 and the Pike Nissan Pack on FH5, more NTF Nissans may be possible.

Just a thought, If it’s Fujimi I would think we get more of the Formula Drifts like the Corolla, one of the new FD GR86s, etc as well as more the Forsberg stuff (Altamaniac, 2JZ Camry stock car, etc)

On the PC graphics side, I've been running DLAA with the "transformer" (preset K) model @ 1440p and is noticeably sharper than TAA which can look blurry in comparison, but it's also important to switch motion blur completely as it can produce visual artifacts that are more noticeable in DLAA/DLSS.

I'm using only full reflections + RTAO because with RTGI there is a performance hit and not many noticeable visual gains, I also locked the framerate to automatic and get stable 82.5 fps (half of my monitor's maximum of 165 Hz).

HDR works fine at 600-nits brightness which is my monitor's rating.

For those that are finding it hard to find populated lobbies, @ManteoMax has posted an update in the official forums to indicate that they are looking into the matchmaking issues

If Fujimi Kaido does come back thats good for the people that want it.Personally, for me,its another track i`ll use only if I have to,like the Nordschleife its just not for me.I only raced on it in FM7 when I had to.Plenty of other tracks to add but if they listen to the community then thats a win.

I'm the same. Fujimi was cool in the earlier FM days but I wouldn't really want it now unless they truly revamped it to make it accessible to cars like GT3/PROTO-H/TRANS-AM type of cars with pit lanes and all. But otherwise I would rather have real tracks like Monza, Interlagos, COTA, Long Beach or Imola. If it comes back I won't be mad because it is a classic track and I'm sure it would be beautiful but I probably won't use it much.

Yeah I don't want it either.

Wasn't there an open series that started with E class? I seem to remember that happening once but lately it's always started with D.

I will take the chance and remind how important to check forza forums at least to vote for your favorite cars to be in the game

for multiplayer players, T10 also will start to do this:

Isn’t this what they’ve already been doing for the past 8 months.

Community Choice events have been a thing for a while, including voting for returning series.

If they bring back Fujimi but make it as wide as Hakone to "make it accessible to faster cars" or something dumb I swear to the good lord above I will find whoever made that decision and

I think fujimi can work if it is connected to Hakone like the Nordschleife to the Nurburgring GP. However it's obviously going to be too small for anything more than touring cars (maybe even too narrow for those.)

Still holding on to hope for Camino/Iberian/Ladera
Camino is one of the highest voted tracks in the track voting section of the forums, so there's atleast a nonzero chance. Here's hoping.

The cynical part of me is thinking it'll just be Monza or something though, which would still be fine. It's just that when they make a big deal about saying "fan favorite" track I think of one of the old fantasy ones.

Echoing others on Fujimi, though T10 has done a nice job breathing life back into returning tracks, so seeing what Fujimi would look like a decade later would be really interesting.

I still personally want to see COTA return, but they did say fan-favorite. Others have said Monza, but I'd wager maybe Test Track or Long Beach? They were also in 5-7, iirc.

Apparently, the Oreca #38 07 is available at the autoshow a week earlier.

Don’t forget the best of the bunch. 2012 911 GT3 RS 4.0 (997).

Usually on a Wednesday night I can complete the 4 races of the featured challenge and 3 of the open series in about 3 to 3 1/2 hours. Tonight it took me 4 hours just to complete the featured challenge and the D open series.

This was one of the worst AI sessions I've ever seen. The bashing and the brake checking were just on another level even more than usual. I think I had at least 8 or 9 restarts at Daytona. Every single time at the kink between the International horseshoe and the Western horseshoe, if you're within a couple of car lengths, the car in front is going to jam on it's brakes. Turn 6 and in the middle of the LeMans chicane are two other places they are going to almost come to a stop. If you try to swerve around them you just run off track or spin out. Watkins Glen was fairly decent, only a couple of restarts there. But Indianapolis and Road Atlanta were just as bad as Daytona. To be fair I did hurt myself at Road Atlanta by spinning the car out at Turn 7 three times including once on the last lap. That has to be the number 1 corner where I spin out prototypes.

Now to the SC63. I would rate the BMW ahead of it. The Lamborghini has difficulty tuning at low speeds and the gearing is strange. 2nd gear turns in other prototypes are 3rd or even 4th in the Lambo. But it does seem like Turn 10 learned their lesson from the Cadillac V Series as each LMDh introduced since then has been much better.

One positive thing that happened was that final Daytona race. Coming into Speedway turn 4 I was right on the tail of the leader and got beside them coming out of 4. The leaderboard was flickering us back and forth it was that close. I think we touched just before the line but it was one of the closest races I've had.

I still think the Cadillac V series R needs to be fixed in multiple ways. From its PI level being too low, to its understeering tendencies and its engine sound, which isn't as deep and aggressive as the real life car. That car in this game is like a prototype of a prototype

Yes I get that, but why ruin a perfectly good sound for the Supra RZ? It now sounds like an M4/NSX hybrid and very similar to the "wrong" sound it had in FH3.

@ManteoMax has updated the matchmaking thread, the devs have made adjustments to matchmaking to alleviate problems, so will be interesting to see if the 3player lobby issue has been resolved. https://forums.forza.net/t/matchmaking-since-update-18-feedback-requested/767105/81?u=syphe0
Uhh, @ManteoMax is on these forums?

Since when?!

I'm a fan and Willow Springs is a favorite of mine. :P I would do endless free play races there, I just love the spectacle of a track in the middle of nowhere. Although the return of Rally Di Positano and the Stratos would suffice.
