Forza Motorsport Update 17: Daily Racers Rev It Up​

With February underway, Turn 10 is preparing a preparing an early Valentine’s Day gift by releasing Update 17 for all Forza Motorsport players on console and PC...

• Mostly cars that were already in FH5
• Only 2 really new cars

I guess that’s the kind of updates to expect for 2025 I guess.

I don’t want to sound too negative, for a free update it’s fine, nothing more and nothing less.

I hope they will transfer more FM7 tracks though like Long Beach and Sonoma to name a few.

But not everyone who plays Forza Motorsport has played or plays FH5. I think it's a pretty good free update to include 9 cars adds some variety too...compare it to GT7 with its measly 3 or 4 and I think Turn10 are quite generous...

Still no Monza raceway, no Porsche GT3 RS 2023, 911 Turbo S 2023, no Dallara Stradale (probably one of the most fantastic and efficient toy on the Nordschleife !), no Maserati MC20, no McLaren W1, no GMA T.50s Nikki Lauda race car, no Czinger 21C… Instead, some boring Hyundai “GTI” cars, a heavy weight sedan Toyota🤢 No real novelty added. That’s a real pity.
Hopefully a Mazda MX-5 RF. Very poor program for the next four weeks… 😩

I'm actually very glad they don't have another two Porsche iterations, particularly 911. We've got a barrel load of them already. Already played with the MC20 in other games, no biggie. Dallara Stradale, never heard of it 😂
Already have the standard T50, the T50s is just a track variant which is in TCMF. Czinger C21C is in FH5.

Who says that Forza Motorsport is only a game with modern supercars, hypercars and track cars? The term "Motorsport" is quite wide ranging. From your post, you sound a bit like a spoiled brat who didn't get the Christmas prezzie they wanted under the tree on Christmas day 😊

The GMA T50 is in there and has been since day 1. There's plenty of decent cars in the game already and next month which is named high velocity I expect some more

I love high-performance sports cars and supercars as much as the next guy, but these front-wheel drive performance cars, as well as the new Elantra TCR, offer a much more unique experience and challenge than another MR track-star, of which there are already dozens of in the game. They're a nice change of pace compared to what we got in BMW month.

You know, a lot of people that still rave about FM4 being the best one will definitely tell you one of the reasons why is because of the slow city cars that scattered the car list. The vocal majority, ie the chronic complainers, are not the playerbase majority. Bread and butter, "attainable" cars are just as important to a car game's roster than the hypercars and track focused stuff.

I mean, it's kinda hard to have a lot of "truly new" cars when the modellers are making cars for both FH5 and FM8 at the same time.
