^^^^Glad you took a second to post this.....hard to see what your car looks like when its going by me...

Looks good

Here's a tip for the club about 'solid color purchases' you may have bought in a certain color and want more variety. *Again, this only works for decals or logos that are 1 color that are locked! This is handy when you find a decal and the seller says they can sell you other colors, you can save a few dollars..

1- Lay your decal/logo
2- Copy said decal/logo
3- Paste decal/logo so there are 2
4- Right trigger both
5- Hit 'A' to bring up menu. Find Group option, select it.
6- Hit 'A' again on grouped decal
7- You will see the 'Change'Color' option
8- There you go.

Be sure to 'Ungroup' once you have changed the color to save your layers. And some may already know this, just letting others who may not. into the gang!

I just finished watching the replay of last week's race...very impressive! I don't know what was more exciting...watching Fezz and Forcone battle for first place the whole 25 laps or the battle for third between Hamster, Carlos, SilentDrifter, and Hennessey. That had to be the most hard fought race for position in the short history of FPM....and very clean considering how many evenly matched cars/drivers were on the track...of course you had a few bumps here and there but nothing too bad. I hope this next race is as good as the last one. 👍

I hope so Wiggs! My hands were shaky after that race, was concentrating so hard that I didn't knew I was holding my controller so tight! (Am I saying this right?)

Can't wait for the cup car! :D

Going to put some times down tomorrow. I got NHL 12 on Monday and haven't stopped playing it.

It was an awesome battle, I didn't even care if I won because it was that fun!

This week looks to be the same, I've managed to nip ahead of Forcone, could this be the first non Forcone Pole? :D

We'll just see about that, Mister! :P

Honestly, this car doesn't suit me at all. I just can't tune it :D Understeers hideously.

edit: Aaaahh, this event reminded me of a Tsukuba Super Lap Battle in GT5 I took part in with this entry: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hUAnXl-axY

Probably my best Tsukuba lap, ever! God it took a lot of work to get the Golf round in that time

I've still to fine tune my car ;) love how early you can get on the power in this thing, 4wd is definitely one of my stronger points

Ummmm actually I took the pole in the first race. :D It didn't do me much good though....Forcone passed me on the first corner and that was all she wrote. :irked: ....and I'm with Forcone on the issue of this car's handling.....I don't like AWD cars. The performance just isn't there compared to RWD and even FWD (up to B class anyway, as far as FWD). BTW Forcone has taken back first place...barely. Also, Carlos has a good time on the board already in a RS1800 that's gonna be hard to beat in the Cosworth.

I think I'm done trying to improve on my time. After many different builds/tunes/laps I can't do any better than the mid 1:05's. My last 20 or so laps were all between 1:05.5 and 1:06.0......hopefully that's good enough to be competitive. :scared: Maybe Hamster and SilentDrifter will stay put and I'll get the 3rd spot behind Forcone and Fezz. Also, DeadlyDC has informed me that he'll be racing this week. :)....not sure if DC and Carlos will be able to go faster than the previous times they set on the board....if they do then I'm screwed since their old times are faster than my current one. :ill:

Managed to improve my time slightly but still .07 off Forcones time, don't think I'll be able to get any better

A question for the Club.

I know this last race was great for everyone. Nobody got jammed up or spun out to cause them to loose the race. I think alot of it has to do with the track we were on...wide, no tight corners. But this weeks race is on another tight track which should lead to some great racing. But I am confused on what is right or wrong when it comes to leting a faster member by me. And I dont want to hinder or piss of anyone. Im new here and want to enjoy my racing with everyone. I know Im not the fastest guy on the track. Every week Im impressed on how fast everyone is. BUT the way I see it if 2/3 guys are racing for 10th place and are neck and neck and its past the half way mark on the race, do they have to automaticly slow down to let faster racers lap them??......Also lets say I am in 5th place and Forcone (fast guy) gets spun out and I pass him. When he catches up with me and Im in my own race do I yeild??....Last week there was no issue for me since I was on my own not battling for position. But I have a feeling with this small track there will be alot of moving around. I called myself looking around for rules but realy didnt find anything...Now Im not talking about delibertly knock a guy of the track. Im talking about being in a racing line and defending it....Thanx for any advice....Maybe one day Ill be like Forcone and dont have to worry about people lapping me..=)

If you're battling for position and you're about to be lapped, don't put yourself in a position that will cost you position by just pulling to the side...continue racing and the faster guy will most likely get around you, as long as you're not blocking him intentionally. Usually it is acceptable to make one move to block when defending position and that's it....but you shouldn't be blocking a lapping player at all. Now when a window opens up and you can let the lapping player by without losing position yourself it's advisable that you let him by without incident...but never just make a sudden move to get out of the way as this may cause an accident. It would be more convenient for everyone to use a mic, but that probably won't happen. We all need to be aware of what's going on around us and there will be less incidents. I hope my answer makes sense and is acceptable to everyone.

I think you save the replay and send it to Yo Def to get the time off of it
@ Carlos and anyone else. It's best to save the replay in case someone wants to challenge. I trust everyone to be honest so I doubt we will have this issue, but save just in case. You can PM your time if it doesn't register due to an earlier time. Now you can see why I used the 'not so popular' tracks, to avoid this, but as we progress further, this is inevitable.

I don't know if I can get my time improved. I'm trying different builds of the car, and setups for each, and I am at a total loss right now. The time that I set, was the fastest of my builds, and I'm still way off pace, than I would like to be. I'm going to have to give it another try again, in the morning.

Also, there's a good chance I won't be able to attend this Saturdays race. Just have to see how this Saturday plays out.

I'm not completely happy with my car either but I'm not sure if I can get anymore out of it. The .3 or .4 difference between me, Forcone, and Fezz mostly comes down to them being better drivers than me. I'm sure you'll get the build/tune right and improve on your time...you always seem to.

I played around with my setup last night and couldn't get any better, aero doesn't seem to make much odds on Tskuba due to only having one high speed corner, diff settings make the difference here due to the cambered nature of most of the corners

Trying to put in some decent laps on Tsukuba. Can't beat my old time, no where close!! Fastest is 1:06.152..

I don't think I'll be able to race tomorrow guys. Having a bit of trouble at home right now. Have a nice one, even if I won't!

I hope everything is ok....don't worry you'll still be in first place in the points race even if you miss tomorrow. ;) @Carlos I want a rematch sometime next week....I've got some new cars in A and B class I wanna kick your butt with...maybe something in R3 too. :D
