As I'm sure most of you already know, due to the PSN Outage SONY is offering 2 free games via PSN from a list of 5 for the PS3 and PSP.

Which two games do you plan on getting that are available in your country/region?

I know for sure that I want Little Big Planet, but I'm unsure about what I want as my second choice at this moment. :)

I would love to have R&C, but Dead Nation and inFamous are plenty for me.
 
LittleBigPlanet sounds interesting...

Given that it's free, you should just download it, and sell your origional disk if you already have the game. Make marginal profit, perhaps?:sly:
 
I would've liked GT5 Prologue, but I'm sure we'd all like a game that isn't on that list so let's keep it away from that sort of talk.

I was just about to get infamous. It was on sale for $10 new.

Really looking forward to the destruction of Sony's bandwidth the day tis goes live.....
 
Definitely want LBP. Not sure about my second choice, though. Need to look at gameplay before I choose.
 
I voted dissatisfied, but only because I'm not particularly interested in these games. I'm not disappointed in Sony for these (free) games, but I was hoping for more stuff I was planning on getting already. Portal 2 for example.

I suppose they do need to let the newer titles earn the sales they deserve, though. All of these are either previous versions of new games (inFAMOUS, LBP) or ones that aren't really as popular as the mainstream ones (Modnationracers PSP).

Overall I'm surprised they're offering these at all, and I'm sure many PSN users will be happy to receive a few of these games for free. 👍
 
I'm getting Wipeout HD and inFAMOUS.

I hear Wipeout has a killer soundtrack and looks epic. I'm getting inFAMOUS because I've never played the full game before. Just the demo, and I liked it a ton.

Wipeout is epic. If you don't already have Wipeout HD, then you have to get it as one of your two freebies, it's that awesome.

Seeing as I already own Wipeout and Fury, I'll be getting LBP and inFamous.
 
I'm very satisfied with it 👍 I'll probably choose Wipeout and Littlebigplanet (I could choose Infamous but I already have the game).
 
I got an idea. I have multiple PSn accounts and if I download 2 from one , another 2 from one, and the last from another one, I can get all the games. lol. someone prove me wrong??
 
Got LBP and Infamous already. Infamous is a freaking awesome bonus for people who don't have it yet, great game.

I guess I'll be happy with WipeOut and SS HD. I guess. Would've just preferred some PSN credit to choose my own stuff, like Shift DLC.
 
Well this sucks. Currently travelling, so I lose out on the free games... Guess I wasn't really affected by the psn outage though. Miss my ps3 a bit though. It's been 4 months and I'm dying to play f12010 until I can't keep my eyes open anymore...

Also have the urge to play through Oblivon and final fantasy 7.

Too bad it wouldn't work like that, but I think sony picked those games deliberately as cost limitation.

Here's the deal, Sony. When you advertised your console to me, you advertised it as an all-in-one device. It had free online play, it had Blu-ray capabilities, it had music playing, it had Linux, etc. You took Linux away. I didn't use it enough to complain, but regardless, that's a story for another day.

You lost all of my personal information and I could not use my console as advertised for almost a month. Not having online play, I can deal with. I can't play Demon's Souls properly, but thankfully, all of my online games are on the 360. However, it's pretty insulting to have your President welcome me back with open arms and a promise of reparations, and then to give me a whopping $100 in games. This doesn't count the fact that I can get some of these for cheaper, that I don't have a PSP, or that I don't subscribe to any of those other services. That further diminishes its value to be about $40.

My identity, my bank account, and my credit are worth $40 to you? It's more than clear how much you don't care. It's more than clear that you're doing the bare minimum you can to try to scrape some goodwill off of your freshly stomped-on fanbase. Something that would have shown that you cared would be something like a poll. What do your supporters want in return? I'm not expecting much; I don't need expensive games. But seriously, three downloadables, one with a sequel out, and one with a sequel about to be released. You can be sure that every time I think to buy a PS3 game now, I'll keep this in mind. I'm voting with my wallet, dammit.

I've completed InFAMOUS (good side) cause my friend let me borrow it, my sister already has LBP. And SSD HD doesn't look completely awesome to me. So I'm getting Dead Nation and Wipeout.
I'd rather have the new BO Escalation and one small-ish game instead though :indiff:

Why on earth they couldn't just give people $10-25 in their virtual PSN wallet i don't know, i could have bought some DLC i actually wanted that way.

Keep your PSN+ subscription (anything you get via the free 30days including games downloaded can't be accessed when your free PSN+ subscription run out),
Keep your qriocity subscription(music is already free)
Keep your 5 games i've never heard of.

Ungrateful but honest.
