I'll be there but unfortunately won't be able to stay for very long. Thanks again kcheeb.

Wasn't able to get the car downloaded.

What was the problem @CC570? Took me a bit to find it, but the download link is quite a ways down the page:

Here's the mediafire link if you need it.

mediafire only seems to work for me at certain times of the day (early am) pretty sure my ISP is throttling it down at times.

That's a pain 👎

On a bright note, @Wiz and I had some good fun on Spa last night. This is going to be a good combination tomorrow night!

I'm planning on being there around 9:00 EST, hope to see you guys.

Server will be up shortly. Hope everyone can make it. :)

Sorry to hear some are having troubles getting the car installed. Perhaps we'll stick with Kunos content for a while.

Server is up and I'm in there, but won't be ready to race (or be on TS) for about 15 minutes or so.

Hop on! :)

Simresults from last night - Oreca @ Spa Results

Check out the Race #2 gaps page. I don't think Johnny and I were much more than a second apart the whole race... awesome stuff! :) Really enjoyed that one.

Thanks for coming out everyone!

Heads up on the next race... it will be the X-Bow at Vallelunga. I tried the X-Bow a long time ago and didn't care for it too much. Last night Brindle, REK & myself tested a few combos after everyone left for the night and it turns out the X-Bow is much more enjoyable than I remembered. Should be a good one.

I'll update the OP as soon as I can.

@Johnnypenso & @nepal road

I chose to respond here since it's a little OT for that pCARS thread.

@Johnnypenso What is it that is being measured for consistency?
Laptimes I presume...maybe Wiz will show up and add to that. I'll ask him in the AC forum if he doesn't.

It is laptimes. It's calculated by averaging all your laps from a race, excluding your personal best lap. Then subtracting the difference of said average and your personal best.

For example, here are my results from that same race Johnny posted...

uToOCKh.png

If you average all laps (minus my best of 2:19.534) you get 2:20.5869 Taking that average and subtracting my personal best of 2:19.534, you get the 1.0529 as shown here,

xnrnRbt.png

For the percentage take 2:19.534 ÷ 2:20.5869 = .9925 or 99.25%

Thanks. Is there a way to remove the very first lap, since it's not a flying lap and it skews the results? Now that I think of it, by including the first lap it's more difficult to compare your accuracy levels from race to race unless all those races are the same number of laps, because the effect of one standing start lap out of 8 is higher than say 1 standing start lap out of 20. Is it adjustable in any way? Is this an app that runs with AC and spits out the data automatically?

You read my mind @Johnnypenso I was planning on asking the guy who created this software about removing the first lap from the equation. I'll let you know what he says.

As for the software itself, it's not really an app per se (nothing is installed into the AC folder), it's mainly just a reader/parser.

The AC server spits out logs that contain all qualify & race info. I upload these logs to www.simresults.net and it takes the info from said logs and automagically makes the handy charts and graphs we see.

A sample log is attached.

Does the AC Server put out the individual lap times with individual sector times which I could then drop/import into a spreadsheet?

Unfortunately the server does not log sector times.

Its going to be hard jumping on, since the semester has started not to long ago. College... y u do dis.... Plus i have an exam next week. so its 40/60 ill be able to join.

Thought I'd get a few laps in the XBow and try some tuning again. Have to run out to work but I'll post up the tune I was working on. Was good for mid-high 48's pretty consistently on a "perfect" track.

Disappointed in the field sizes lately...hope we can flesh this thing out a bit more. Have you thrown any threads up anywhere else like the AC Forums or Race Department?

Also, I'm noticing there isn't very much draft effect in AC the way the room is set up. Is it adjustable on the server? It's near on impossible to make a draft pass at any track with any car, at least that's what I've found so far. If it's adjustable maybe turn it up a notch or two?

Agreed. I'll look into advertising on other forums. I'm not sure RaceDepartment allows outside events to be advertised there. I'll check it out.

This won't help matters either... I will not be able to run a server this coming Friday. Sorry guys. I may try to run something during the week to make up for it a bit. Or perhaps give Saturday a try.

Unfortunately slipstream strength cannot be adjusted for online play.

V8 Supercar at Bathurst :dopey:?

Sorry but I have no plans to run ripped content from other games.
