don't forget to place your PS3 in the nearest trash can as the PS4 will be out rendering it useless :)

Do you really ditch previous generations of hardware? My ps2 still gets loads of use, both as a ps2 and to play ps1 games. My modded original Xbox is also used a lot for mame and emulating 16 bit consoles...

Why would I do such thing?
I have my PS1 and 2 in their boxes, I can't just ditch my old consoles like that, after all the good times we had together, is not cool.
Perhaps, who knows, maybe in 20 years I'll find them again, and boot up some GT5, and remember the old days of whining about standard cars and lack of customization :sly:

I hadn't thought about getting some beer for my first evening with GT6 - thanks for reminding me :)

you must have missed the Xbox One's epic fail announcement? LOL Xbox fanboys are already talking about jumping ship to PS due to the used game restrictions and always online BS.

I honestly don't know, has the PS4 been confirmed to play used games?

I installed an SSD as soon as I heard the GT6 rumors. I still have to clean 'Fatty' out though, I'll wait until October-ish :ouch:

I took a week off of work to play GT5 and I might do the same again for GT6. Good advice in the OP.

I was silly enough to not do this. I was working the day it came out so I didn't end up playing it until later in the evening. Missing out like that felt so cruel.

The OP was funny, thanks for the laugh.

When I ordered GT5, I received it about 5 days late because the delivery van with my copy crashed and it was on the news. Let's hope this doesn't happen again.

There's speculation that you will be able to stream PS3 titles. Used games are basically confirmed to work from the disc. I don't know how you would go about streaming a used game anyway but yes, you can play them.

Ooo nice. Not so sure about the streaming part, but nonetheless, that's great. :)

lmao, im pretty sure there wont be that much DLC going on past records, GT6 will be plenty cool but what Kaz say and what Kaz do are rarely the same !!! 320gb would probably fit GT5 + all the DLC 20 times over !!

Yes but with only 40GB it's already "tight" in there

There are a lot of other things I want to install too. :sly:

I think we are all forgetting what happened launch day guys..
We get home all exited ready to play it with a pall..
Spend the next three hours installing ten gigs of data..
Damn..
