Got my kicks back on online racing after a horrible spell on NR2003 here of all places. Started with the Focus back in ToCA 5 or 6, not really sure. I was able to lead a lap on my second race at the Nurburgring (oh my ) and got better as times went by, even being able to battle it out with @Furinkazen at Indy for 2nd place (DAMN YOU @Spurgy 777) and eventually get that 2nd place (my best ever finish) with the Mazda Atenza 25Z (Dat color combo ). I couldn't repeat the same results in GT6 I could in GT5, and thus decided to bid farewell to ToCA.

I gotta thank you guys for back in 2012 accepting a rough brazilian (which lacked online racing experience on GT) to a total english party and help me improve a lot. I had a lot fun in here and unfortunately I couldn't accept that I couldn't be as fast as I was and decided to leave.

Thanks for all the fun guys back then, always will remember then with a smile. :D

By the way, that 1-2-3-4 Mazda at Laguna Seca was awesome. Mazda is KING.

I just remembered @Luke and @Carbonox initiating the mass "Honda Vs Mazda" war in old seasons

Oh, another funny fact. I was the only driver to race with james as teammate. Actually, I drove for his team in that hideous orange Volvo C30.

Only time I ever penalised a driver in last place in a 2/3 lap Qualifying race no less for track limits violations whilst he was running last

That event at Indy was the one I finished second I think... I can't even at the moment.

Gosh, how was that even possible? Why did I join him anyway?

I still remember my golden Monza T12 moment, where I'd washed a bit too wide at the Parabolica and sent Snow into a half-spin. I waited on the inside line to let him back past, but there was a slightly messy pack of cars coming up rather quickly behind me.

I think I ended up wiping 7 people out overall, some had joined me on the inside armco, others were pointing in the wrong direction, and some had been sent so far into the gravel trap they'd probably left Italy.

Who even are you?

If it makes you feel better, Dax and Kartman were signed to his team briefly, despite being proven drivers here.

He's no one famous, ignore the boy.

Oh yeah, I remember that too. After that we never more heard of him.

Because he got banned from GTP...

EDIT: Also I do remember the Mazda 1-2-3-4 at Laguna Seca... if I'm not mistaken I think I finished 2nd behind GKM on that race with Snow behind me...

I qualified second on that one and finished 4th... I was able to maintain somewhat the same pace as the other 3 Mazdas, but not enough to hold back y'all.

I would have disqualified each and every driver from that GVS-race.
The majority of the field should've been disqualified from most ToCA races. But Furi never wanted to set an example so everyone just drove like *****.

Thanks for the amazing efforts you made to FRL over the last 4 Years Furi, will certainly be a time I will remember for years to come! I'll just leave this here! :P

Ugh, Grand Valley... Reminds me of how much Kiwi sucked in season 3. I can't even count how many points he managed to cost me in merely a handful of early season events.

Looking back doesn't seem 3 years ago. GT5 for all its flaws ended up a pretty mature game, in comparison to 6.

It had a more stable online mode (IMO), was released as a lot of us were at our peak interest in racing online and wasn't interrupted by a new generation of consoles. I believe these are the reasons why 6 never matched 5 for a lot of us. Certainly is for me, it was very frustrating any time I tried racing with you guys in early 2014 when I'd not see 3 or 4 drivers and would be plagued by the same bugs each time. Wasn't helped by my internet at home going into free fall and then going to college for myself.

By the way, this time next year I'll probably be fibre optic both at home and at college, and I will own a PS4.👍

My time may have been short in FRL and my first ToCA season a bit lackluster despite a podium at Monza, but T13 was much better in terms of me getting stuck in with the action in a more competitive car. I could've challenged more at the front if the BoP didn't favour the Audis so heavily.

Otherwise it was a quarter-decent 2 seasons.

Finally, Volvo OP.

I'll fully admit that I sucked a lot during that time:scared: Yeah, that was bad. :banghead: I'm sorry for that

I did learn how not to behave in a league though so there is that I guess:boggled:

Season 3 BMW OP

Was pretty much the traction that favoured the Audi and people knew how to set it up.

Well I too will be ending my GTP career once GT6 has run its course.

In the mean time LMP2 continues to be tested and will make its Sunday night debut once WSC has finished. That or Swifts.

Haven't made my mind up yet on what I want to do. In all honesty I might just save my money up so I can buy a real race car sooner. That'll be the plan anyways :P

Swifts would be cool to have back for one last tour, probably at the TOCA or WSC timeslot since Fridays were apparently unpopular among FRL members.

Well everything is prepped for Swifts so yeah, sounds like a plan.
