I saw @Pluxtheduck's overtake on lap 55 just after the last caution with about 41-42 minutes to go, pretty decent overtake made use of the traffic jam that happened on the left side of the track

Apologies for that. I was trying to keep out of your way whilst trying not to loose time on Fraiser who I was fighting for position, and the rear tires were not in good order.

I may be in for a penalty for causing a caution accidentally after colliding with @Pluxtheduck when he was sideways across the track.

Apart from that my race was pretty boring as I spent very little time in a battle with me spending a good portion of the race not on the lead lap or me spinning repeatedly and having poor pace apart from a few laps in the 1:14's

Nahh is was unavoidable really, it was kinda amusing as we kept pushing each other down the track as tried to recover
 
I called yellow because even though you got back going, track was jammed and didn;t want a wreck.

Amazed I managed a 1:12.6 near end :crazy:
 
Someone please do laps led for me please? All I need is what drivers led a lap, not individual numbers.

Oh and 3 teams covered by 1 pt in standings...
 
That race was really exciting, but it was so long that I can't remember all of it :guilty:

All I remember was:

  • Getting damage at the first corner and for the whole of my first stint
  • Pitting, then getting damage a few laps later
  • Getting damage under caution twice (1st time my fault, 2nd time not)
  • Having a long stint in 9th place managing to conserve my tires
  • Benefiting from pitting a few laps before the last caution and jumping to 3rd
  • Taking Fraiser on the restart and maintaining a gap back to RPH
  • Getting damage from Furi doing a 360 in the middle of the track and having to pit
  • Jumping up to 3rd from the final set of stops
  • Pitting and then taking 4th place from Matty after he pitted
  • Holding off Matty for the last crazy traffic-filled lap and finishing 4th
I honestly don't know how I managed to get 4th after being near the back for most of the race :boggled:
 
I was hanging at around 7/8th for the first 30 minutes, waiting for a chance to break away. I was moving up, when Plux lagged and sent me straight into the wall. That was pretty much where my race went downhill. After a few caution shuffles, and being in bad places at the wrong time, I dropped 2 laps. With 40 minutes to go, I didn't care any more, so I decided to do a mad tyre stint. Somehow, even though my tyres ended at 4/5 all round, I could still put in high 12's/low 13's.

It was a shame for the whole Speed Center team, who had really promising pace initially. However, that's motorsport, and it just wasn't our day.
 
I was pretty slow compared to Spurgy at the beginning and gradually after each restart I got more comfortable and kept the gap within 2 seconds and gradually closed in to 0.9 before he pitted for tyres. I pitted 2 laps later but the caution came out during my out lap costing me the small of jumping him if I had stayed out.

While letting lapped cars through I got rear ended by Matty giving me engine damage and forcing me to follow Joe in the pits after he stayed out but he managed to stay ahead of 2 cars and stay 6th(or 5th) and I was 7th(or 8th).

We were lapping Cami so the field was all bunched up at the hairpin and after fighting with Plux earlier in the lap he took advantage and passed me & Joe in 1 move and I followed him past Joe and took the outside of Cami to the kink onto the pit straight and left him a bit of room to get both of us through but I got pushed in the wall and had to pit for damage again which meant I was playing catch up with no more cautions to the end.

Passed Fraiser and Fox while Plux, RPH and Matty all had moments and Am pitting(I think) allowing me through up to 3rd behind Lancer. Pitted for the last time and fell behind Am and just in front of Matty on fresh rubber allowing me to pass Am for 3rd again.

3rd place looked set for me but suddenly Lancer appeared much closer than usual and seemed a little slow so with 2 minutes left I went for the pass we touched briefly and went side by side at the beginning of sector 2 with me on the inside which gave me the outside for the next corner. I held on but he carried a lot of speed into the corner after and I undercut him again with a small touch again and got the place and held on to the flag.

Fastest lap: 11.7.

It was a great fight at the restart, both of us driving really instinctively and just sticking it up the inside when we saw the gap.

I lost so much time with lock ups into turn 1... I would have held 4th if I hadn't done 4 times after the last caution (must have lost 40+ seconds with those

Getting the grades to get into uni for astrophysics is about as hard as it sounds so I haven't really picked up my PS3 in about a year haha. Glad to see the whole gang's still about though!

Created this to be whilst not the same as your series (hence this being S1), to have the same exciting elements mixed with the FRL way of things. You should drop in one time ;)

I was on 40 minute old tires. Idk if you heard but I told Spurgy to make 88 the last lap, but we were too close to him for him to be able to do it. You got around me halfway through 88 so it was moot anyhow.
