7pm to 9pm our time.

Ok so first race is 2pm to 4pm and then after March UK makes the time change and then it would be 1pm to 3pm.......If I play my cards right with the old lady I should be able to slip into the man cave to race with ya. I remember last series Furi ran IROC, we had all kinds of randoms do a race or two with us. Was quite fun having the full grids.

Stock racing sounds good to me, but when you can't set the room settings to "tuning prohibited" how can you be sure no one is making adjustment with LSD & Suspension ?

Because we can tune suspension, also, Furi, I signed up with a visitor message ages ago but I'm not on the list, so #15 for me.:)

So the car is stock, but we can tune suspension and not LSD ?...

Honor system works. If you win and you cheated to do so, does it really make you feel better about yourself or that you just wasted your time to beat some peeps online by cheating? Second option seems pointless and a waste of time IMO. Plus Stock LSD adds an element of fun and surprise/aggrevation with each track you encounter in this series. After a race or two you will be wishing you had the adjustable LSD.

Also it cuts down on gaps that gained in set up, making it near-spec racing, a 15 car grid at Indy and a low of 10 in S1 proved this has potential.

Buy Chevrolet Camaro, install RM, and change LSD back to stock. Simple no?

Yeah its super simple, but dont confuse me with a retard..

Was just not described very good if it also where alllowed to tune the suspension.

You should set a max limit for power & PP

It says... ~Racing Hard Tyres only, cars limited to 473hp.~

and also that you only install RM.

I am all in for a fair race, dont get me wrong, i love to sign up to a serie where the car must be pure stock, thats also why i found this Camaro serie to be interested :)

It is lots of fun, good guys in here too! Good competition with these Camaros at these regulations too. Sign up if you're interested. Furinkazen don't bite :scared: just likes to go 4 wide!

In the middle of turns

That was start of turn 1... Mr Two Time Daytona Champ :P

Yeah, and was meant to stay through the end of T2 ..... but didn't quite make it, Mr Put Knelly In The Wall On The Last Lap In The Qualies ...... TWICE :ouch:

But let's not start that again :sly:

I remember Sumo actually backing off and starting the chain reaction... anyway we'll settle it G-W-C style

If you want to be sure that people aren't running extra parts power limited down to 473bhp, you could always check the PP by turning on the PP restriction. My fully worn in car won't get any more than 594pp (full aero, engine fully worn in), so a PP limit of 594 would let us see if anyone is breaking the rules. Of course there's no way to check if someone is using the other LSD, but we can check for better power+torque curves with PP.

I don't think any of the drivers who have posted in the thread/signed up so far would break the rules, but it's something to fall back on if there's anything suspicious.

Furi: after you told me that the cars could manage 60 laps at Daytona before the tyre wear update, I guessed that they'd now be able to get 54. I ran the best tyre saving setup I could come up with and got just under 53 laps by myself (I span coming out of turn 4 on lap 53).

Looks like the 60 and 75 lap Daytona races will be 1 stop races.

It was a different IROC series racing league thread. Not just any thread.
:gtplanet:

Which Bowtie asked if he could set up for US players. So not trolling as he knows who I am and what was going on...

All I am saying is that it looked like a troll and trolling isnt cool. No need to get all defensive. If it was a legit post, cool. Good luck in all your endeavors.

No offence but what Furi said wasn't 'getting all defensive' he just said that he was allowed to post it there.

Which brings me to the point, why did you even bother posting here when it wasn't really your business?

I PM'd Bowtie52 in charge of American IROC and he had no problems. So done and all good 👍

As discussed the other day mate, I'll make what I can in this, but don't expect me.

The time just doesn't suit I'm afraid. Shame as would loved to have defended my Daytona record here 👍
