I saw akmuq go straight and I thought he pulled the power out of his wheel - sometimes happens to me when I dont put it in right - so I thought he was going to brake but then I noticed that his pedals would work - so I backed off slighty and just missed his crash.

Pedals didn't work at all, whole wheel not doing anything.

How about me? I lost tons of points because of the re-run as well...

I find it quite unfair on the others if you got points for the first GWC which was heavily influenced be my non-responsive car.(:ouch:)

Anyway, as far as I know, you're in second place, 23 points off droptop, but he is part-timing this season.

Your car wasn't the only factor in the first attempt, there were other wrecks ahead of me not related to you.

Furi, how can it take so long to post standings for 3 races when you already know the results and points per driver?

I've got to check Pole Laps, Fastest laps, Laps Led, Most Laps Led and Penalties and still I get them out at 9am in the morning after the race finish at 8pm the previous night.

:grumpy:

Just got back home, hence the delay.

Drop is doing part-time, so in reality its a fair bit closer. And Laguna Seca next, road course should mix things up a bit.

Still, I would be right up there with Carbon, now though I need to perform as good as possible the next few weeks, not allowed have one bad week, shame as I was doing brilliant last night and had a reasonable shot at winning each race. I blame the mics.:grumpy:

I would still persist that it's unfair to take off my points after I finished 3rd in that original GWC race (along with the others who finished pretty high).

Think of it this way, if that happened in real life another caution would have been thrown and another Green-White-Checker would have taken place.;)

Unintentionally you can say we had a 2nd GWC last night...

Maybe it can be run that way through the season? If there's a wreck before the white flag we re-do it a maximum of 2 times?

But we would someone to call a caution... and people can just intentionally wreck to get ahead at the GWC re start...

Furi, some calculations are wrong, I would be getting 21 points for 9th place in that really, really controversial GWC, not 19. :grumpy:

The chief complaint with the first GWC wasn't that there was just a wreck. The problem was that there was a wreck caused by a car stuck on track that wasn't being controlled by the driver. A glitch in the game caused an accident that wouldn't have occurred had Akmuq been able to take control of his car when the race started.

Accidents that occur when all drivers are in control aren't cause for a restart, they are something the league host needs to look into for handing out penalties. This is the category that the second GWC would fall into.

If this would of happened in real life it would be a 4 or however many cars made it left because all the other cars would be totaled. Right? Just saying thats all. Time to move on to the next track.

Just scrap GWC races. Pretty silly if you ask me. You're just crying out for wrecks and tears and distorted points standings and results. IROC I did well enough without them.

GWC at Laguna Seca will be utter bullcrap though... I know it already.

Also, since there were two of them in Daytona, everyone should get points for the better finish.

I approve of the better finish of the 2 GWCs being scored.

Laguna's GWC will be a bunch of faster drivers trying to get to the front as quick as possible on a track with few passing places. (turn 1, turn 4, corkscrew, and maybe the last corner)

Since I seem to brake later than most others into the corkscrew, I'll probably have to stuff my car up the inside a few times over the evening to avoid rear-ending people by accident. (Had to do this a few times in the S1 IndyCar race there)

I was hoping tonight we have only 1 G-W-C...

Here's hoping for a stable connection and good race tonight at laguna
