Good race despite the lag. Passed akmuq just before the end, finally it went this way.

My 10th career race win in Race 2!

Race 3 GWC was re started after a incident left Akmuq stranded, wiping Matty and Dax out.

drop leads the Pts but will only be running part time he revealed post race, so that puts Carb in the lead in theory. Laguna Seca next week, higher room quality will be on.

quite annoyed that the gwc was restarted. it was going to be carnage and we all knew that and when you can't drive around and obstacle you all complain and give up. it wiped dax and matty out and they didnt even start the restart. if there is a crash you drive around it, and those that did should have been rewarded

Dax and Matty got higher points as they did do the first Green White Chequer.

Three cars made it around. Was at a vote to restart. Not only did a three car pack I was in wreck into akmuq but when my car got settled back in, akmuqs car hit me again, not my fault. Was a disappointing night, too much lag IMO. Only time I ran smooth was when I was out in front of pack two catching lead pack or when I was pushing droptop in lead. But then a few drivers wanted to race in the corners. Wasn't the best, but I did have lots of fun. Ill join the rest of the races when I can.

Normally I would award 16th place points - in GWC that is 0. However as 10 attempted the GWC #2, Matty and Dax get 11th place points (11 points).

Furi, for the last time, please ditch the mics, if people want to talk, use TinyChat or Skype or some other internet mic thing, it cost me a good finish in the main race and the added lag caused loads of crashes, but I suppose having furi being able to announce those incidents made it better.

Edit: And sorry to everyone for the first Green-White-Checker, it wasn't anything I could do, I even plugged the wheel out and in 3 times before it worked, just stupid, no idea why that happened.

The mics were essential in communicating strategies. I don't see how they impact things too much. Now we'll trial TOCA in two weeks without mics for the final pre season test. Next week for WSM, IROC, and Trucks we will raise to normal room quality. And if necessary lower mic quality.

No they weren't, you probably just said 'in this lap', is that really necessary to do?

If I had a choice I'd prefer an un-bugged race with no lag over a crappy race that I get disconnected in and furi gets to talk to people.

I just think it's BS if having a chat in a race is more important then people actually staying in the race.

I saw akmuq go straight and I thought he pulled the power out of his wheel - sometimes happens to me when I dont put it in right - so I thought he was going to brake but then I noticed that his pedals would work - so I backed off slighty and just missed his crash.
