Man that was a good race. Had a rough start self wrecking on lap 1 then getting tangled up on lap 4 or so. Found myself about 12 seconds behind the leaders that early on. Managed to climb back to 5th within about 3 seconds of 3rd and lost probably 3 more seconds on my pit stop. @raceorama123432 and I ended up duking it out for 3rd. He fended me off at the end. Excellent spec racing. I'm pretty surprised how much the tires drop off the face of the earth on these cars too. They lose a half second out of nowhere after about 12 laps and continue to fade or at least for me. I had no front grip the last 5 laps of each run. Good job also to @Andil on the win 👍

1: PD screwed me in pits
2: You better learn how to brake for turns, @Yeratel84 knocked me a couple times but was sporting about it, you weren't. Got your number now.
3: 🤬 my internet. I was enjoying that. Just before I DC'd I was running 21.8 consistent.

Shame about the two DC's. Maybe it was Furi's connection to blame for yesterday? :odd:

Internet went across house, I went downstairs to ask parents they said it went off. Going to unwire the thing and plug it back in tomorrow.

Maybe it was on its last legs? That sucks though. Happens to a lot of us though, you very rarely. Think my fastest was 21.2?

Did you get the replay Jon?

Fact. My 2nd EVER FRL DC. ToCA at Spa in season 7 or 8 was my only ever one.

I was way behind you and broke before my normal spot because of the draft and still went way deeper than you did. I didn't give it back because I was knocked onto the dirt and went out of control

That was fun but a really difficult 'race' to judge - not being able to see @Spurgy 777 meant I had to guess where he was based on what people were saying on mics. Got the impression that he was a few seconds up the road (3?) in first half of the race.

At Laguna you lose so much time if someone else pits at the same time as you, so I opted to stay out until I knew everyone had pitted. Spurgy overlapped with Furi so lost time I think(?). Meant I had crap tyres, doing 22s for a few laps but it was worth it as I came out ahead of him.

I then just pushed on, since I had no clue what Spurgy's lap times were. At one stage I did 7 laps one after the other of 21.0,20.9,21.0,20.9,21.0,20.8,21.0 so I was pretty sure my pace was good... and consistent too :sly:

You were good on the brakes. Not sure why you were so much better than me (and presumably Furi)

I left brake bias at what it was on default because it can't be changed. I did figure out something mid-race that made me able to stop a little better

@Panoz no prob!! Stuff happens 👍
