To be honest, I don't know what some people were talking about earlier as it's impossible to get around this track at full throttle the whole way, unless wallriding counts...

It is, i'm just not doing it now :P

In all seriousness, i'll have them up saturday - I was supposed to be away saturday afternoon but those plans have been cancelled...

I know I can (if I get the entry into Turn 3 right)

Great race! Happy with 3rd, was nearly 2nd but Yera just beat me. Great running with Yera, Connor and Fox, really quick! 1st, 3rd, 5th, 3rd in feature races now :)

Won't make next week (hopefully). Are there drop scores?

Had a guaranteeed 2nd until lag. 4th isn't that bad all things considered. Spurgy and I were able to get away very nicely at the end until lag crashed us

In that case... are you sure you had the precise correct setup?

Yes I'm sure. I was also able to do so with every single setup @Furinkazen suggested last week after the Indy race as well as with the final one he posted here...

At least I know that one wasn't my fault as I was 4 seconds behind and when I exited Turn 2 you two were already hitting each other and getting out of shape...

That was fun but always knew I wouldn't be competitive enough - pad + worn tyres = not turning anymore! Was able to hold on to @cnd01 and @Spurgy 777 until my right front dropped to 8, then basically it was game over. Got wrecked on the penultimate and final restarts but did get the best view of @Furinkazen hitting the pit wall, so that's fine 👍

What happened to my view was that Spurgy went from 160-0 real quick and I hit him

That was fun at first until the lag issues started piling up. Used one of the cautions to switch off wireless on my router to see if it helped and after my last issue I not only switched off skype but also my PC's ethernet adapter as well...

After that on the biggest green run I held to the back until people started losing pace and then decided to do one last attempt at racing with the pack and was fortunate enough to see not only my connection holding out but also having such a good pace that I was able to recover up until 3rd place (btw thanks for the help @raceorama123432). After Orama was unable to push me in the straights anymore I started losing a tenth a lap to the leading duo of @cnd01 and @Spurgy 777 until lap 95 when coming out of Turn 2 I saw them hitting each other and then Spurgy spinning. I was able to pass Connor before Turn 3 and as such had the lead entering caution. By then, I threw away any chance of winning by staying out (wasn't expecting pretty much the entire field deciding to pit), so decided to hold out the restart almost until the finish line to limit amount of run in before T2 for those behind me, but people got impatient and started pushing each other which allowed Spurgy to jump to P2 (if I'm not mistaken, the leader doesn't necessarily need to go immediately after the start of the pit wall, but before crossing the finish line). First GWC came and I got a very good restart which allowed me to pass Connor for P2 before yet another caution. On second and last GWC again I had a good restart and was able to hold P2 and somehow was able to fend off Orama on a mad dash to the finish on very old tyres (Front 9 6 / Rear 8 7).

Finishing this round with two second place finishes after everything that happened can only be taken as a positive outcome (although I was surprised by how good my pace was on this track no matter how worn the tyres were)

Just checked the replay and at first your car slid to the wall mid-T2 then quickly jumped back towards Spurgy and after another minor lag your car forced his into a spin. When I caught up to you just before T3 you again slid towards the wall right in front of me with me barely avoiding hitting your car in the process (noticed this last moment in the race as well)

Didn't feel happy with the car all race and barely ran up front apart from a few laps at the start of the long green flag run in the 2nd half of the race as I managed to catch the leading 4 before slight contact with the wall lost me the draft then it went downhill from there.

Gambled near the end to stay when the late caution came by staying out as it gave me track position as at that point the best I could managed was 10th but the fact I lost 6 positions when pushed slightly wide and a GWC happened meant I decided to pit and have the freshest tryes in the field

That's what I saw, also I couldn't help jumping to the front on that restart, I got a massive hit from behind :P

On my part, this weekend was horrifying and there was really nothing worth reminiscing at all, except for the (cheap?) position gains coming out of the last turn on the last lap so I at least didn't end up in the non-coveted last place. Not to mention the tires didn't really last (you keep seeing that word in this post a lot, right?) very long, clean air or not.

Tyres dropped off on right sides a lot. I want to know how you dropped a lap - when I pitted near end I was wondering how you hadn't blown on by me.

Obviously last night there was a big difference in tyre wear between wheel users and DS3 users... as per norm in ovals

Found out when I first started using my wheel back in 2011 that the biggest gains were found racing in ovals (back then I used to race in a NASCAR series outside of GTP), rather than on other circuits, where any gains came only after getting used to the wheel. Also that gain were mostly found in tyre wear than in actual laptimes (although those also began to drop as you obviously have a steadier input during the turns in ovals).

I liked at the end when you guys were wrecking so fast I'd pit, come out, and pick up the field. :sly:

Holy hell, just as well there is a drop score in this

@raceorama123432 @Yeratel84 @cnd01 @Panoz @Spurgy 777 @chrisjohnson93 @LancerEvo7 @FlyingFox @smuffyatfcp @Carbonox @Andil @Ninners @Roflwaffle @hsv @CAMikaze Daytona Road next week!

Are short races and long races dropped individually? Don't want to lose my win otherwise there wasn't much point in me turning up at all yesterday.

Drop scores currently affect the top 9. Order with them currently factored in would mean that it would be:
Yera
Lancer
Cnd
Orama
Spurgy
Panoz
Furi
Fox
Chris
