To explain R2 lap 1, from my perspective:

Bit clumsy at the start, one of the Audis had damage, so I got clogged behind that. There was a build-up of cars, which all came to a point at the end of the lap - I went a bit wide, kept the car on track, but then had cars tripping over each other ahead, which then came with cars driving into me from the left, and cars sliding sideways up the inside, and cars ramming behind - pinball is literally the only way to describe it. Yera was straight ahead and a bit wide, there was a 2 car-width gap, which I had lined up for but was slower out the corner, so I was going to get overtaken anyway.

However, Lloyd then gave me an almighty whack from behind, which I was later informed as being due to him receiving the same thing. This was as Yera was pulling down, and I was on the grass, by the pit wall, with nowhere else to go. I then proceeded to get forcefully rammed towards the pit wall, which was slightly understandable from someone who thought I was just jamming the car where it wouldn't fit, but still wasn't the best bit of etiquette I'd ever seen. With that horrible messy bit done, I tried to get into a rhythm, but was surrounded by some Audis - who all seem to have this bizarre technique of yanking the car 90 degrees and using it as a battering ram to try and overtake.

Whilst in all 3 races I'm pretty sure every at least half the Audis doorslammed me, the most confusing (and thoroughly amusing) bit was they all started to fly into each other. I'd say the vast majority of all the incidents were down to one Audi pulling a slidejob from nowhere and getting into the side of another Audi.

I predicted an Audi whitewash, and that's what we got, but maybe I expected a little less blind ramming.

I was on very outside and had to steer into the guy next to me to barely fit, seems you and yera got alongside at that exact time.

I saw a blue car, thought it was you, thought you may have got a wheel onto the grass as you were right up against the white line.

Listen the Citroen is arse happy enough as it is... :P

Furi, have you ever thought of forcing the Audis to use a torque controller to send 90% of the torque to the front, or is that not possible?

I think 50/50 is the most you can get.

The obvious problem here was people not compensating when behind and braking at their usual mark...

I'm not going to say I never pushed anyone under braking (obvious mention being T1 on R2 where when I touched the brakes the car went sideways and I ended up shoving HSV wide), but when closely behind someone else almost never rammed anyone under braking or pushed them wide mid-corner (sure there are a few who may confirm this)

If I had my wheel and a bit more time to prepare I think I could have provided more competition to the Auid's. They were fast but not unbeatable. Even though they won all 3 races they weren't that much faster than the other cars at probably it's best track. It seemed the slowest in a straight line so they will definitely struggle at places like Silverstone and maybe bhgp.

The Renault is so easy to defend with, it's speed down the straight is definitely countered by it's poor mid corner speed. Got a few nudges mid corner from a variety of people telling me to speed up ;)

@Furinkazen Do you have the points system somewhere? I know it was posted a while ago but I don't see it in the OP.

I will pester for points tables in due course. xx

Edit: Nevermind I found it:

By the way, R3 I had no HUD, so I'm pretty proud of that result. Overall it was a much better race. 👍

Quick fix when this happens is quickly pressing START to bring the menu and when you leave it the HUD will appear again...

I was one of those... after spending 5 laps closely following Furi, was caught by surprise with how much slower you went through Graham Hill when compared to him..

Read wing size as +15 not -15

That's why youre the #3 driver
orama OPing(Overpowering) aero. :sly:

Played it by ear, didn't you? ;)

And from what I saw in some of the posts, maybe DNQing was a blessing in disguise for my part?

Something tells me Autumn Ring will provide more of the same close quarters comb.. uh, racing next week.:embarrassed:

Yea I saw you two having a great battle, side by side for must have been over half a lap, I had the best seat in the house to see that, great driving by both of you 👍

Explains that divebomb at Druid's. :P Seemed like an honest mistake and you gave the spot back, some people here could learn from you. 👍

Race 1, Furi made a dive and I went for the crossover, but my Renault boat washed up into him and it knocked him wide. I gave the spot back after the next corner 👍

@gokartman78 , yes brilliant battle. Odd little tap but we ended up clean, even when going side by side through the back of the track :scared:

I knew the Audi had monster grip on exit, so my aim was to pretty much stall you and force you to back up in the corners, and power away on straights.

Race #1 had an interesting come together, with @SkengD who forgot I was there :odd:. Race #2 I just made mistakes. Race #3 I was fast.

FTFY :dunce:

Also, in more than once instance I was in a position where I could've just accelerated sooner and/or slightly widen my turning radius in order to force my way past, but was just having too much fun applying pressure and trying to go for a clean pass...
