First off, Thank you to @LancerEvo7 for giving me a chance to drive in ToCA. :D Really sorry I couldn't deliver more to the team. Second, @Spurgy 777, you really need to calm down with your blocking as you shouldn't be defending that hard. Third, great racing by everyone and I hope to see some of you on the track soon.

I wouldn't need to defend hard if you knew how to use a brake pedal :)

The Audi's 4WD helps even that out in the twisty stuff.
Everyone always says that but that's not how it works. Can't use that extra speed unless you knock slower cars out of the way. Then the FFs pull several car lengths on straights to boot.

???? You ran wide in T1, I went to the inside we you were rejoining, you smash me off the circuit on the entrance to T2, I have no steering on the grass and I'm doing my best to slow down on the grass, can't, we both go off at T2. Explain how it's my fault.

I didn't "run wide", you broke way too late into T1 and fired me into Furi, I then pulled across to the inside on exit to defend (not that I should need to because the polite thing to do after messing someone up so badly is file in behind them), but you insisted trying to force a gap after I'd closed the door. Later on in the race you side-swiped me going into T1 which meant you broke too late but you just used the run off instead to get ahead. And then in R3, L1 on the last corner you again ran into the back of me and fired me off.

That's not what happened on my screen..........

So, do I get any points in R2 after getting screwed over by PD's servers?

0 for a DNS. Or else people can cheat the system by qualifying, not showing up and still getting points.

You do realise you aren't forced to give points to people who try to cheat the system? Just give points to people who DNS for genuine reasons and don't give points to people who DNS because they can't be bothered to race.

Also, people who are in pre Q can still cheat the system, they just need to turn up do a bad lap time and get points for it.

Is it true Spurgy really got no ballast for race 3 just because he finished the previous race outside the top 10? That was pretty bull:censored:, he was already going to have an advantage over other contenders by starting up front for the next one, and besides he was up to 3rd or so in race 2 before that bizarre wreck.

That's how the success ballast works... It's on overall points for Q and R1 then it's based on race 1 and 2s results..

Way to award gift wins, then.

TBH I can't wait for this season to end already, there's practically no point "racing" 4WD's in an FWD that has practically everything worse even when 4WD's are driving with ballast... Tire wear, standing starts, cornering.

Good thing there's more to this season than that though - at this point, all I care about is winning the overall FWD title (made easier by the drop rounds), that looks like a realistic goal at least if we're calculating average finishes thus far. :dopey:

Considering that's how it's done in BTCC I don't see the issue with Furi mimicking it.

The real question is do you think for a second it wouldn't be Mole, Nin and Spurgy upfront? No matter what car they are in they will win..

For e.g Spurgy won in a slow but consistent Infiniti in one season. I remember as it was the Mini and VW that were OP that season :P.

In fairness, at this stage it would be better to have them drive FWD's ballast-free than RWD's with ballast. As long as no one ever has a drivetrain advantage again...

There is no drivetrain advantage other than starts, and wet weather (which is moot).

The Audi isn't allowed the diff so I think it's default setting is 60-70% power to the front wheels. I do agree though since Furi told me and others this was going to be a Fwd only season :P.

FWD has better tyre wear and top speed.
