You know what really stings? I could have got 15 points for R2 (because of exceptional circumstances, i.e. GETTING DISCONNECTED WITH 20 GODDAMN SECONDS TO GO) and be in the top 12 for next week, and now I have to go through the pre-Q lottery at Willow Springs. 👎

Maybe it's a good thing I have off Friday and Saturday. I have a feeling I'm going to need all the practice I can get if I'm to have a chance of making the Top 12.
Had to feel good with how I performed in Race 2. I did what I could to try to stay competitive with those who were at the front and not mess up those who were getting by me. Sadly, it wasn't to last as I had a off on Lap 1 of Race 3 at the crossover and got lagged into by @Yeratel84 on Lap 8. And there was a car in between us at the time!

Highlight of the weekend was in R2 where I was chilling about 6 seconds behind the pack and Yera suddenly materializes right in front of me in turn 2.

Hmm... curious now as to which layout you use when racing GT6 (noticed both in replay and when following you that your kept blipping the brake on straights). If you're using R2/L2 for throttle/brake you're either pressing the trigger when resting the finger on top of it or the spring's giving out...

I have the default control settings (for the most part anyway - obviously I rearranged L2 and R2 for those wonderful side views) so I primarily use the square button for braking, and while my memory's not that great, I would suspect I just needed to tap that brake a little bit occasionally so I could make the corner...

Oh, it was a straight you were talking about? Thinking of it, I may have just realized something...
I've got two controllers, you see, and their age is clearly visible at the analog sticks, which have started to collect that sticky stuff that already came out of the PS2 controller. Not just that, but with one of my controllers, the right stick - which still serves as an alternate accelerator/brake in my control scheme - is a bit off center, specifically facing down. So it could be that that's why the brakes occasionally flicker without me knowing it...
