BTW @Furinkazen, I should have got 30 points at Le Mans, not 24 (finished 3rd, not 4th)...

EDIT: Just noticed you skipped 3rd place altogether, and starting with me, everyone have received points from one place lower than their actual finishing position...

I was doing it at 2am so mind not on job :dopey: will overhaul and add to Op.

Some work on stiffening the springs and adjusting the ride height got me to within 2 seconds of Fox in Qualifying after I was able to get home from work and get right to the PS3.

I was thinking the best strategy for the start was to maintain visual contact with Fox and Snow for as long as possible, but I think I was the beneficiary of a good start compared to those two and would have raced in formation with Jammy had I not gone into the Dunlop Chicane a little slower than I should have. :dunce: As a result, I was the caboose of a 4-car train powered by the Cobra driven by Smuffy then Fox for the opening few laps and getting what would be a personal FL of 4'27.7 on Lap 2 in the process. Lap 3 however was when things started to fall apart on my original plan of trying a 2-stop strategy when I hit the armco going into Playstation Chicane causing right-front damage and I would start to see the trio pull away from me.:ouch::irked: Faced with the possibility of doing 50 minutes with a damage wheel and having to be sure not to let the car get out of control, I was able to pass a damaged Snow on Lap 5. Then on Lap 6, I caught the edge of the armco going into Playstation Chicane and came to a dead stop with major damage to the body and drive unit. Needless to say, it was a long drive back to the pits with what possible chances for victory and the title out of the window. :(

I then had a try at seeing just how far I can go before I pit in the next stint. I was thinking I would have a shot at a higher placing if I go the rest of the way without wrecking. 17 laps and an hour and 20 minutes later with a slight off due to rear tire wear, I was back in the pits to fill the tank up for what I hope would be a final stint just like what I finished. It was coming up on 4 am in the game and the fireworks were still going of around the main grandstand area (#PDLogic)

With 40 minutes to go, I was lapped by Lancer at the Porsche Curves and was about to enter Maison Blanche when the right rear tire touched the grass and I was shot hard into the wall on drivers left suffering major damage to the left front and drive train and had to pit.:ouch: It was then I found out how far behind Fox I was as he was entering the pits just as I was exiting.:(

Finally season is over
I don't know if I have done so much work (practice time) on any other series than this one (WSC).
I scare to count hours and km's that I have put in :scared:
This championship is one of best I have - I'm happy.

Yes GT350 was good car - may be too good to compared to others. There was close lap times with some track. I didn't took pole or fastest lap on every track/race. May be I just learned to drive it well.

LeMans pole time was almost my best time (best was done in day light).
Race start was alright and Yera was leading two laps and I just waited to good place to pass him. I knew it will come.
After passing Yera he was apply to follow me in draf two more laps and then I could open more distance between us and got away. Rest of race was again to do my strategy (3 pitstop) and doing constant laps.
Fanny thing was that I lost control of the car on last lap (40) and got damaged right front. Tired? Yes very. 3 hrs racing is hard.
At least you gave the Shelby Mustang the best sendoff possible with a GT-O Drivers Title. ;)👍

I'm actually thinking about getting the PS4/TS300 combo, if Project Cars is really good. I might be continuing racing on both though. I'll definitely make the switch when GT7 comes out. Question is, when will it be out?
