What's rare about that? Even in the U.S. they're getting imported regularly so...
Not sure what part of the US you're observing, but they have not been importing these cars regularly into the US. After the whole MotoRex charade & the rumors of the US Govt. impounding these cars, they have been extremely low key & don't pop up on the general used market. Typically, you had to know one was for sale to actually find the listing for it. It hasn't been until recently thanks to the 25 Year Law for importing vehicles that we're beginning to see them again.

And for $22K, I am seriously interested. @ProjectWHaT mad kudos to you for introducing that site. Bookmarked for future reference.

Yes, due to the 25 year rule we now see the '89's (and now starting the '90's) being brought through. Japanese Classics LLC themselves have been brining many Skylines through, as well as other importing companies.

I see your point, I was talking about Skylines in general and not just the GT-R. I hear about them a fair bit around here, so maybe that has skewed my perspective of the scale.

Doug used them for his (soon to be coming?) GT-R and wrote about it on Jalopnik.

This shop seems legit though.
There's an article I probably won't read, then. But yes, I've seen their name thrown around a bit on Skyline/GT-R forums by folks asking for importers. They're pricing for GT-Rs seems really wonky (everything costs the same, despite various conditions), but I'm not complaining given that it falls well under budget & they handle all the legal loop holes to jump through. My issue is just finding a damn loan for it. :dunce:

Can't say I've ever seen one of those before... but it gets the prize of the most out of proportion wheels I've seen on a car since this....

Considering Nissan has a giant warehouse full of its most valued cars, I would have assumed a #001 Z-Tune would have been lost somewhere in it.

Nice, but would be nicer without the front and rear spoilers. Perhaps swop out the Revolutions for some nice deep dished minilites too.

Agreed on the spoilers... a bubble arched mk1 shouldn't have them.

I really like the wheels, but Minilites would also look perfect too 👍

The mechanical build is decent - engine and drive train are sweet (it will sound awesome for a 4 pot), but it needs a much better rear end... 5 link suspension and rear discs. Could probably improve the suspension again by moving to Billies.

In for another US GT-R sale, for the people that are actually looking for realistic buys to consider:

Up for sale is a very nice Nissan Skyline R32 GTR with 135,000 miles. Car is 100% legal and has a clean Colorado title.

Interior is in immaculate condition as the r32 gtr seats have just been tastefully reupholstered.
Exterior in great condition as well. A few spots fading on the paint which I would say is normal for a car being 25 years old.

Mostly stock with a few tasteful modifications.
-RSR cat back exhaust
-Upgraded R32 GTR -5 turbos. Have been upgraded with steel compressors to handle more boost.
-HKS EVC (electronic valve controller)
-HKS turbo timer
-N1 front bumper
-17 inch Autostrada Modena 3 piece wheels

Serious offers will be considered, no tire kickers, In no rush to sell. 23k or reasonable offer.

So I was watching Barrett Jackson Palm Beach and this came across the block.
