Now, I know this is for rare or unusual cars, but how about one whose pricing makes absolutely no sense?

What we have here is a 1974 Lamborghini Espada series III with the awful 5mph bumpers, finished in poop brown over tan, in absolutely execrable condition outside, with an interior condition that rivals a brand new Chrysler and most likely a wide array of electrical gremlins... For a cool 89,500$.

Surely someone's having a laugh here, that can't possibly be serious.

Not to mention the automatic..

I'll give them 5000, considering it will take about another 81k to bring it back to pristine running order.

Sounds about right. $80k for a restoration project since they're $200k and rising for a good example.

It's a sad, sad world we live in when a car in that condition and with that configuration (ie, awful color, automatic transmission, DOT bumpers and all) is worth that kind of money, especially considering the Espada was never really the Lambo of choice. I remember about 7 or 8 years ago seeing an orange Series-II for sale relatively locally, with a bit of work needed, for about 28k... Those days are long gone.

Looks a bit rough in the pictures, but without knowing how much rust it has and if the engine and gearbox are good it's hard to judge value... plus you'd expect there to be some wiggle room in the price.

If it's rust free, and the engine/transmission are good, it's purely just cosmetic stuff. If it's rusty and needs and engine or gearbox rebuild, it will be seriously wallet lightening.

The last Diablo SV that rolled of the production line.

It kind of looks like a kit-car.

The Equipe was basically a re-bodied Triumph Herald while later versions were based on the Vitesse, as well as using Mk I-III Spitfire engines. The one I posted must have had a 1500 twin carb installed sometime after because that particular engine configuration wasn't available until 1973 (1970 for the single carb).

Price estimates are suitably eye watering.

All except the CGT Prototype sold at Amelia Island auction over the weekend.... $21.9 million in total for Mr Seinfield. 550 was the top priced lot at $5.3M.

This is on the lower end of the scale compared to some but a Nissan Cedric has been for sale up the road from me for some time now:

This isn't the one for sale (there isn't an internet advert) but it's pretty much identical.
I'm pretty sure it's the 3.0L V6, 280bhp version, 4 speed auto for £4999. I've been looking around on the internet for a while now and can't find a single Cedric for sale in the UK so at least here it's pretty rare.

A pristine XT, which has had over 10 thousand dollars poured onto it, and yet will be sold for $5500... If I didn't know better, I'd say the guy was stoned when he posted that ad.

Nice overall car condition, though. It could do without the uber-modern Pioneer satnav...
Hard to find a 90s car around here nowadays with a stock head unit, unfortunately.
