Hey everyone!!!

It's happening! GTPlanet has opened up the voting for Track of the Week to the public. What this means is that the community can now voice their opinion on which track they think deserves the weekly spotlight.

There are many of us Touge fanatics that feel we aren't getting any exposure for our community. Many of us have numerous mountain pass tracks which we're proud of.

I have 2 courses myself in the Top 5 Downloaded for the Touge section. GTPFrenzyHero has a number in the Top 10 as well. Lots of talent, plenty of unique tracks to choose from.

Share your tracks on the database! Support your fellow touge drivers!

Hey everyone!!!

I have a lobby opened for practice and tuning for tonight's tournament.

The Seeding/Qualifying race will be held as soon as the lobby fills with enough participants committing to the duration of the tournament (1.5-2hrs).
  • Anyone is welcome to join.
  • Once the tournament has started, no new entrants will be permitted
  • Intermissions for cooling down between rounds, as usual.
After the tournament is done, if enough people are still around, we can always have another.
 
Saturday was fun and even though I lost my first battle, there was a certain frequency of calmness and clearness in the air as soon as the the run was over. That feeling alone makes it all worth it for me and i willl never forget it :sly: Great Run Frenzy, I'll be ready to compete again next week.

The next tournament, we'll be running the high powered class (A)

500hp limit
1250kg minimum (no upper limit)
Weight -3 is prohibited
Engine Limiter use is prohibited (must be at 100%)
Ballast use is unlimited*

The venue has yet to be chosen. Feel free to suggest your favorite course by posting on this thread. The council will vote on it.

*Adding ballast to a car who's stock weight is less than the minimum is PROHIBITED.

What does this mean? Say I have an S2000 '06, if I use Window Weight Reduction and Carbon Hood (making its weight 1235kg), can I add that ballast back, which would make it eligible (again, since it was already eligible)?

Or are you only able to add ballast if the car is already above the min. weight, after parts?

Or does this just exclude cars which are too light when stock, like say an AE86 in B-Class; before any tuning.

I think, for simplicity's sake, just leave it unlimited. It's another one of those things that are impossible to really police.


Is this still applicable; as it was updated at the end of October 2015.

Every tuner car is banned from use in official runs
