Actually...ya know what? It doesn't matter. This whole thing about Christian bashing or whatever you may want to call it is ridiculas and getting really , really tireing. I can't think of any other group of people this would be allowed to happen to on this forum. If this many threads were started bashing gays, muslims, African Americans, they would immediatly be jumped on
by the moderators as well as the people of the forum. Look back at the threads and you will see it's true.
You may call it whatever you like but it is obviously bigotry to single out a group of people and no matter who they are and begin name calling and putting up negative comments and dirogotory remarks.
Especially comming from a moderator is totally unaccaptable.
I would like to thank Pako for at least being honest when he was seen by the whole as being wrong. He stood by his commitments and his beliefs but he did appoligize. He is a much bigger man that other moderators on here.
I will be requesting that Jordan remove me from this forum as soon as he can.
I have enjoyed most of it and enjoyed getting to know most of the people I come to know.
Have a good life.
Later
use the same arguments over and over and over and over and over again,

Well, all the Athiests here use the same arguments, and all of the Christians use the same arguments, so it's kind of mute.... But nonetheless, it gets annoying...
If what they were saying was gay rhetoric bull, then you'd be perfectly justified in saying that and I'd support you. I can't think of any off the top of my head, but if you can, throw it out there and I'll bash it for you.Originally posted by DGB454
So if I say something like ; , this is all typical flag-waving white gay male rhetorical bull then that's ok? (By the way I would never say that)
Just trying to understand how I can bash and get away with it on this forum.

I do think you guys have built an excellent foundation of basic morals to work from (golden rule) 👍,... but do you think that statements like the e-mail we're talking about have a positive or negative long-term effect? Are radicals like him and Falwell actually helping in your opinions?
Gil, my friend, I'd like to recommend a book to you, since I know you're a voracious reader. Look into American Gods, by Neil Gaiman. It's a novel, but it's got quite a thought-provoking premise, and a number of plot twists to keep it interesting. A few "adult" bits, but nothing too shocking in that regard.Originally posted by Gil
We need God. Not the other way 'round.

See if you can dig up a copy, and let me know what you think.

If we live a life that is the Example of Christ, Forcing the Bible won't be necessary.
My English teachers have been telling us that for typing things on computers, both methods are acceptable.
