mine isn't working! Whenever I finish a race i get sent into a menu where you can select 'watch replay', 'save replay', or exit, so when i tape down the enter button, i get sent into a continuous loop of replays. Does anyone know why, or how i can fix this?

Nope.
The menu option is over the next race icon. It does not move over. If yours is moving over then Perhaps you have to much Right applied to the stick or another Key stuck down.
Remove the keyboard and just do a few manual races and go through the cycle with you racing.

What do you mean by 'next race icon'? I have not seen this anywhere, would it have something to do with the updates?
And it does not move right at all, 'watch replay' is the first option.

Hello, I'm back to GT5 after a looong "pit-stop" i got a shoulder surgery.
So now i found spec 2.00, helmets and suits... wow!!!

I tried to gain some good money like before, auto-grinding with the X1 in "Like the Wind", i have read the previous messages but someone says that like the wind doesn't work with the new physics, other says that work, after 1.10.

What's the situation right now please?
Like the wind or dream car?
the right settings?

Rubber banding Aspec on like the wind was broken by the increased resistance of the walls to the X2010 ages ago you no longer win.
You will constantly lose the like the wind event and it will lose you XP per min but it still has a higher pay out in credits.
If you want creds do "like the wind"
If you want XP do "dreamcar"

With the up to X2 bonus now, ranking up with out even driving A spec a single lap your self is now faster per day.

Random le mans AI car can cause your X2010 to spin out with a random bump on "like the wind".
This does not happen on "dream car" as the cars are not Le mans class and you pass them all on lap 1

The top speed of the X2010 should hit 255mph/408KPH grinding the straight walls.
But thats never been the problem, the problem is the corners can drop you down to 159MPH/254KPH.

New X2011 DLC re-enables this on like the wind but you have to get lucky with the AI selection
and you must set aero to 50/50
steering must not be turned at all and tyres must be racing hard.

TC setting 5
ASM off
SRF off

Every thing else default settings.

On the back of the track you will clip the grass and steer back on to the track.
lap times should be 43 seconds

Be aware its still not perfect the AI is programmed to drive different randomly in GT5 2.0 after 6 hours the AI crashed the car x2011 out into a Wall.
So would suggest checking every 3 hours if you can.
Now that the steering is not needed its one less rubber band/ peace of cardboard as well. Ill do a new Video with the X2011 setup on screen.

The reason this car works is because PD lied the car engine has more BHP than the vettel version with 1635 BHP when you add that to the reduced drag you can now go faster.

All clear, exactly what i noticed trying with the old method, AI make you spin, and X2010 too slow on wall riding (260-270 kmh).
I will not use my new X2011 for wall riding anyway...

One last question 'cause your quotes make some confusion:

Take a closer look at both events again.

This means "dream car" takes 2x longer/number of laps than "like the wind".

This means you can do more "like the wind" events in the time it takes to do 1 "Dreamcar".
( Now with even quicker load times. )
So yes Due to the Random nature of your finishing position, "Like the wind" earns more credits than Dreamcar per min.

When I used the low down force and no steering system on the x2010 I only got 1 race out of 10 that started clean enough to win but you can still finish in top 4.

Yes I knew and remember the difference in number of laps, but now the problem is that LTW doesn't bring you to win as you stated, probably crash because of different AI making you spin; if i'm not wrong if you get second prize it gives you 50k CR, so yes 2 times LTW earns more than DC;
but what happens really, how do you use to end now? 2nd? 3rd? 4th?
Over 2nd place it's still a bigger payout to grind drreamcar, isn't it?

YES tried:
X2010 can do laps in 44.5
you have to be lucky with AIs... if you get the right ones you win
if not you will bumb a wallon the 2nd lap...
in that case...reload the race... and retry... here we go the GT5 Lotto

I think you have gone though the champship and not the race it's self.

Is there a chance to lower the chance of getting turned to the wall by KI with GraphiteGB's settings? I'm only able to race ~2-3 rounds like the wind till i get stucked at the wall.

Update to 2.06 unlocks new grinding choice

The new Daytona 430PP seasonal has shown up a flaw that new to grinding can use.
A-spec seasonal event Opens A-spec Auto grinding up to those that don't have a.......
X series car / have not unlocked Indy yet, or those whom don't like Driving in ofline mode full stop but love online.

A cheap car can now offer < Cr318.000 per <10 min race. No driving needed.
Pick any FF car above 277pp but below 350pp, and tune it down to 277pp ( you want to increase the weight over decreasing HP ) as this gives a >1000% DPA bonus after the Race.

This race out come is not altered by the AI as you will be driving to slow to be moved out the way and you intend to finish last, auto pilot will hit them on LAP 5, but won't be pushed off track. when the car crashes into the high wall the Daytona banking will pull the car back on course.

You can sign out after starting the seasonal so PS3 does not need to stay online either.

This means users that don't have much time to play can unlock A-spec events and cars with out the slog it can require. It also means they can BUY the cars instead of having to borrow them and can go online with popular cars not the Preset cars...

So the summary...
X series car no longer needed to grind. Toyota Prius instead.
AI never puts the car out of the race.
>Cr 318.000 per <10Mins or >Cr1,908,000 per hour only 11 hours needed to fill the bank.
Even faster if you find a faster car at 277pp than the Toyota Prius ( Total time not just 1 lap.)
