Well I didn't post any pornographics pictures either, it was a JOKE! I didn't even make it up, I just linked it from another forum for god's sake. Not to mention it was in the comedy topic, people who are here for gran turismo wouldn't even run into it.

It was a picture of a game controller in the shape of a large, graphic, clearly defined penis. Easily visible on the DVD in the tray was a picture of two men having anal sex. Speaking of "clearly defined" and "easily visible", lets have a little look at the rules:

Do you see anything in the rules above that makes exceptions for comedy? No. Would somebody coming to a Gran Turismo site normally run into pornography? No. Is this site 100% Jordan's property? Yes. Do you agree to follow his rules as a condition of staying here? Yes.

Full stop.

The problem is some of the rules must be moderated sort of "at will" since we're all people here.. "Sexually suggestive" could be pretty much anything you post depending on whos reading/watching.

My advice to you is just go with what seems to be generally accepted here, accept that you think this forum is too regulated and think before you post. I enjoy GTP too much to be banned and have found other forums I like where I can go and be really obscene, I'm pretty much leaving that side of me out here.

It is real.

I've seen the interview with the guy who stopped just before the track. The station is across a large commercial center where many of the passengers worked. You had to cross the tracks to reach the center. Obviously, people rather flirt with a 100 ton, 1000 HP, locomotive than be 5 minutes late to work.

And that's the thing. The 'net is positively swimming in places where you can be as obscene as you want. That doesn't mean that every place has to be like that. There's plenty of outlet already; we want to keep this place different.

The other thing, which I'm sure never even crossed smellysocks12's mind, is that it only takes one truly irate parent who finds their child viewing inappropriate material here to slap a Cease & Desist Order on Jordan and get the site in serious trouble. That would spoil the fun for everybody.

We're just not going to risk it.
 
I don't get the Carmen San Diego reference, but then again I'm about 40 so maybe I wouldn't.
