I don't think that's a garage. You don't really put a carpet on a garage floor, but YES, people do sometimes make wooden floor garages, if it's well supported by the joists or a concrete slab, let's say a 3 1/2" inch one, then you can put a 3/4" T&G plywood nailed and glued.
