First rule of rally spectating: stand behind something solid. The guy stood there knowing a car could come crashing towards him, and chose to stand behind a solid wall (not to mention being able to lean on it, being a photographer). It's the same as the marshal who escaped being hit by a rolling Suzuki - expect the unexpected and act accordingly. (The Suzuki guy actually put himself in more danger by running away, but I don't blame him for doing so.)

Anyhoo, back to the funnies.

What Roo said, that photographer is the definition of thinking things out and planning ahead. As soon as he realized what was happening he just rolled in and stood there, knowing he'd be safe.

Duke, after all these years at this forum i dont think im going too far out on a limb to say that not a lot ever gets posted in here that you find funny. Which isnt a bad or a good thing.. just an observation.

for the record i find some of them funny but most not, only the ones i can personally relate to.

Totally agree, I've never found one of them funny. In fact, I think some of them would be funnier without the silly sketch at the end.
