Don't know who "moderated" the last picture. Can't really do anything about it other than laugh. The moderation in this picture thread is so ridicolously inconsistent, that it is laughable.

Perhaps read about why Canary's were used in coal mines at one time and then you'll get the joke. At this point you both have ruined a good joke and are quickly filling the quota for buzzkills...Oh look I've gone and filled it by trying to explain it.

The canary is in a coal mine, coal miners bring canary in the mine with them so when they stop singing they know that toxic gases were night and the worker had to get out of the mine.
