I think this counts as one of those funny glitches; like that guy in Skyrim who clones himself and gets stuck in the ground up to his waist, or like the various rag-doll related physics glitches that can have you in physical pain... I kind of hope it doesn't get patched, so long as it has no real effect on the gameplay.

if they were dumb like bspec bobs, they would probably forget something, have to go back to the pits, whilst running about 10kph or less depending on the level of your driver.
