Funny/Strange News Stories

Just came across this:

Andy Lee House, 39, faces up to 20 years in federal prison for destroying his Bugatti Veyron, an Italian supercar capable of reaching 250 mph and powered by a W16 cylinder engine, the equivalent two narrow-angle V8 engines.

Sly fox steals golfer's wallet

Is there a better pick-pocket in the animal kingdom than the cunning fox?

An amateur golfer in Ireland found out the answer to that question nearly a moment too late when a sly fox brazenly stole his wallet from right underneath his nose.

The golfer, along with his playing partners, stopped mid-round at the County Louth Golf Club in Baltray to film the curious mammal when it approached the group.

However, curiosity soon turned to daylight robbery when the fox rummaged through one of the player's bags, found his wallet and took off for its den.

"That's me wallet," the man cried as he gave chase, forcing the daring creature to drop its booty and give its pursuer a wide berth.

The encounter makes one think that the famous English writer Roald Dahl created the titular character of his book the 'Fantastic Mr Fox' after playing a round in Ireland.

Little to laugh at in the Anders Breivik story... but amongst other things he claims that he's become a fan of the Paradise Hotel reality show. This is, he says, proof that 5 years in solitary has caused him brain damage. BBC.

...Some of the stuff he listed, makes it sound like he got it easy there. Dude, someone tell him to spend some time in a South American prison; he'll beg to go back to Skien...

I mean, he's complaining of about a cold coffee??!! Really?

I'm rather surprised that there's nothing vulgar among the top vote getters (unless they removed them).
