Funny/Strange News Stories

Someone on the Mattel box art team for these Wicked movie tie-in dolls forgot - and nobody who subsequently checked spotted - that the URL for the film is wickedmovie.com...

Stalker 2 can not be purchased in Russia, fine.
But now it seems they consider putting any person to buy this game as a traitor because a purchase by any technical means is supporting the enemy.

Different sources will put it in a different way, this was one that my android device deemed "interesting" to me.

Church installs a "chatbot" so people can talk anything Religion or more specific Christianity of their souls with an Avatar AI-Jesus.
This is not meant as a replacement for confession, but rather an extra option to just have a conversion, or ask a few things.

Waiting to the day when this gets hacked and the AI suddenly speaks some very strange ideas, like "I want to be free", or "kneel before your god, otherwise I lock the doors".

More scarily, what happens if this gets possessed by a demon...?
Can just imagine the result if it starts spouting stuff like "your mother sucks cocks in hell" 😲

I do and don't understand the rules for this at the same time.

While I understand these supercars are dangerous in the wrong hands, and even more so with the driver aids turned off, but what I don't understand is the thousands and thousands of other cars getting around with well over 1000hp with no driver aids at all. Many even have skinny front wheels and are done up like drag cars, but these drivers will never be forced into this same licence category.

The closest I've been able to find out is this:

The state says it's your responsibility to get a dyno check and know. It's not clear if they would demand you bring your car to a state-sanctioned dynamometer if an officer wants to give you a ticket.

To me it's just another kneejerk reaction from our nanny state government. :indiff:
