The problem is that most people drift with the 86 because of Initial D. In Initial D, the 86 always wins. Even against a grip driving R32. In GT4 you won't be able to do that against a real person. That's why I believe that drifting sucks. It's only good at doing exhibitions. But I had rater be fast without style that being slow with it.

totally right. I drift for fun and entertainment, not because its always faster (though in some cases it is). It's the same thing with the skyline. ever since it was featured in the fast and the furious, EVERYBODY says its their favorite. its my personal favorite, but for other reasons.

Now, concerning the remarked part that I find funny. Considering that R32 had an estimated power output of 400hp, and asuming the weight was kept stock, which would be around 1450kg, against a car that weighted around 940, and had 150hp (estimated by the fanboys de facto omnipotent character, Ryosuke), it's quite questionable that the AE86 even had a shot at winning that race. Add the fact that our good friend jonnystyle132 claims the R32 had around 2820kg (three times the AE86's weight) it comes to mind whether he is certainly special, or every Initial D fanboy is stupid. I would like to think the latter is more accurate. Please don't prove me wrong.

Personally, I find more realism in The Fast & The Furious than Initial D. Physics? They suck in both. Plot? Sucks in both. Coherency? At least no 14 year old is seen drifting in the mountains. And manages to learn so many things in just 5 years.

That pretty much resumes my opinion about Initial D.

What proof does TsukubaTrueno have that makes him think those kids have watched F&F? Other than the use of the word NOS, which I'm aware is only a brand, I don't see anything that guarantees they have watched F&F.

I do believe some kids are believe everything they see in F&F, but not everyone does (as in my case).

F&F? Hell yeah. Being a 14 year old myself, I must admit, after watching F&F when I was around, 11 or thereabouts, I was influenced by it. Of course I've grown out of it now, and I did grow out of it in about 6 months time. However, friends in my old school only watched it when they were about 13 or so. Affected them much, much, more badly. Ask any of them, 'neon makes you go faster, my favourite car is skyl1ne lol it owns ferarys lolol.' Pretty sad. Telling somebody my favourite car is a Golf GTI makes them literally 'lol'.

Woah, woah calm down. First, I knew NOS was invented by before F&F. Seriously, what the heck. I just said that F&F part because I remember the first time I saw the movie was amazing and I remember the whole NOS craze and stuff.. That was about 8 years ago(I was about 7). I saw the movie the other day and I found out how horrible it really is.

Second, I don't really care about the physics in both pictures.. I could care less about F&F and I could care less about Initial D. I created this account about 2 years ago when I liked Initial D. It was an entertaining show with interesting characters to me.. I never even finished watching the series.

I never even mentioned anything about F&F physics in my comment, nor did I compare them with Initial D's.

Third, you obviously took my comment wrong. 💡
