they reset the leader boards, i was at level 4 and after i played one round on ranked my level was reset back to 1.
Yeah the first day I played ranked (saturday) I got up to level 3. That was the same day they reset the ranks about 2-3am sunday morning. lol I host player matches now anyway because you still get the achievements and I dont have to hear people whine about the rank system. lol Plus friends can join right away without having to search for your room. I got my 300th kill last night in player match on my 2nd game. :sly: I am probalby close to 350 kills now but I am still not very good yet.

Its been about 2 years of trial and error and a lot of patience. Oh and more frustration than you can possibly imagine. I was so tired of Comcast cable that I already ordered DSL and it was going to be hooked up tomorrow. However they finally ended up repairing all the cable lines to our house, replaced just about everything outside, and got us a new modem.
We were able to host a room in GRAW 2 last night with 14 people, didnt kick everyone from the room, and no lag. It was just amazing. 👍 👍
Our last tests were over 9megs download and 750kb upload. Sometimes it even reached 11megs download! I was just shocked to host that many people in GRAW 2 for the first time with no problems. :dopey: :dopey: The next time I am on I will try to host 16 people in GRAW 2.
Current speed tests with repaired internet.

^I've heard a bunch of people lately that think Comcast is retarded and gone to someone else.

GRAW 2 was great but even for my non-gaming ass, this game was short... REAL short. I finished it already. I think it was shorter than GoW. That was real disappointing.

Yeah Comcast just completely sucks especially the customer service and call centers.
Yes the campaign in GRAW 2 is VERY short and it is disappointing compared to the GRAW campaign. However there are 3 different game difficulties so that will add replay value. I assume you played through on the easiest setting so now you should go through on the other 2 settings to get the most of the game. Just like GOW. To get the most you really had to go through on all the settings.
The online in GRAW 2 has more options than I could even imagine playing and its extremely fun. The helicopter hunt is enjoyable too. The graphics are very impressive and realistic.

Yeah, it's ridiculous how customer support can be sometimes.

This definitely wasn't as much fuss as yours, but upgrading our internet was stressful. Three times they said they've upgraded our account, and the fourth time (talking to a more senior person), he said it still wasn't even upgraded! He upgraded it on the spot, and the speed rose within minutes. What annoyed me the most was they guys we run before started blaming our equipment for not being able to keep up with the new speed, when they didn't even check they'd actually upgraded it.

Luckily, they gave us half price broadband for 3 months. They didn't want to at first (they came up with some excuse), but after another letter it worked.

My advice to everyone in the future is make sure they give you the number to a tech supervisor. Once I finally got through to him things changed within a couple days. And keep running your internet tests with those sites in the first post. The idiots that come to your house usually just dont know anything. You really need to get the supervisor or line techs. And dont give up, keep calling, keep complaining. They really started concentrating on the problem more after I told them I was switching to DSL by wednesday the 28th. Hmm how ironic that they finally fix it on the 26th.
The good news is that they already sent me credit for a couple months of internet and they are going to do even more. I can promise there is no way I am paying for the new modem or anything that they have done. I spoke with the supervisor again this morning and he said he will definetly find a way to make this "right" for us and all the time and problems we have delt with. I was very close to getting an attorney and I have never been frustrated with anything in my life for make me even consider something like that until this Comcast issue. If necessary I would have also contacted the Better Business Bureau or even the local tv stations. I am a very patient and understanding person, but once you make me mad, I will do what it takes to make your life misreable. :) Mine and my girlfriends entire family have already dropped Comcast.

I will be hosting Ultimate Defender rooms tonight. You have to defend an area for 60 minutes with no respawns. If anyone wants to join let me know. I can easily host 14 people. Possibly even 16. I will also probably host this several times over the weekend too that way more and more people can get this. I will probably do it on "Headquarters" or "The Cut". Sounds like we need the M36 Saw too. What type of gun is that?

Ok I will definetly be on when you get on tonight for sure. I will probably be on until at least 11-11:30 tonight depending on how full the room is.

Thank you for everone that joined last night. 2 successful games in a row. You should of heard the entire room cheering after the first hour game!! Had an entire room of great people. :)
Finally got this achievement!!!

GRAW2

Ultimate Defender: Defended a zone for 60 minutes

I bought this game the other day, and have finished it on the hardest mode already... I ranked 459th overall on the leaderboards. 👍

To be honest, I slightly prefer the first GRAW. This GRAW wasn't at "explosive" as some of the reviews made it out to be. And it was easier overall, until the very end. At least explosions look better.

The AI was a bit more intelligent, but no obvious "flanking" from the enemy that people say they do. Your team mates would respond to you better, but they occasionally become sitting ducks by not seeking cover when several people are shooting at them.

The online though seems to be great - if you can get into a match that actually lasts. Once, everyone left on me within the first 5 seconds or so, once the host ended the match after a minute or so, and once I lost connection in the waiting room! At least I got my "most kills in a match" achievement first time around. ;)

I agree with all that too. The campaign is very short and much easier than the first GRAW. The multiplayer is where its at but you need to find a good host. Or host rooms yourself if you have over 800kb upload speed. If you are under 800kb upload speed then you will end up kicking people from your room if you host over 14 people. I think I even posted a basic guidline for hosting this game. Its somewhere in this thread. Post #58 has the information for hosting in GRAW 2.

Thanks for the info. 👍

The specific problem that keeps appearing right now is "you have been ejected from the server" while in the lobby. I really cannot believe it does that with most hosts...

A lot of the times the host will kick lower rank players. I dont play ranked games at all but I hear people complain about it all the time. But the majority of the problem is that the host cant handle the amount of people they host. GRAW 2 is EXTREMELY demanding when it comes to your online connection.

OK, after being "stuck" halfway through the last level for the past 3 months, I finally decided to finish it today... and did anyone feel like the ending was completely crap?

Seriously, you're trying to stop the nuke, you kill most of the baddies, you get some farewell message from the Prez, and then once you order the launchers to be destroyed, you see some really crap lightning effects instantly after, then you fall back in a really cheesy way, then the screen goes black. All within two seconds.

And then you get another message or two from your commander and Prez right afterwards about how they're trying to find you and thanking you for your work and blah blah blah. I was expecting some airstrike making some extremely killer explosion, killing you with it, but all it looks like what happened was some silly EMP bomb. How about they target the nuke with teh satellitez and launch the EMP without me?

And they don't even take the time to flesh out the story at the very end like GRAW 1 did. Or give me a recap. Or something.

Overall, it just seems like the developers were working hard at the game, had to reach a ship date, and the ending was an afterthought. The game was like a bag – they were filling it up with gold and gems, and then they crapped on it and lit it on fire like a practical joke.

I've been playing the campaign for the 1st time (coop) for the last few days and i've had tons of fun. :D The graphics are pretty good if you have a decent system. mine is lowend right now i guess ( athlonxp 3000+ @2.2, 1gig ram, x800gto OC'ed.) I think we made it up to the the 9th mission last night.

whoops... this thread is for the 360 version and i'm talking about the pc version.
